The German Green Party wants to switch off all coal and nuclear power by 2030

7% of German energy comes from nuclear, 23% comes from coal for a total of 30%.

3% comes solar and wind after 30 years of hundreds of billions of investments.

Oh, and I forgot, the German Green Party wants to ban all fossil fuel cars by 2030 too, which means 90% of oil (34% of German energy use) would also fall away.

Can someone tell me how this is supposed to be feasible? I am curious, anyone want to try to understand this shit?

>nuclear fuel cleanest by far
>germany makes most its GDP by making cars

Green is foreign economical subversion

it isn't. Nuclear is cleanest by far and Germany makes a shitton off making cars, and they know ICEs aren't getting phased out this century.

you're being turned into commie somalia

my net's fucky, sorry

>Can someone tell me how this is supposed to be feasible? I am curious, anyone want to try to understand this shit?
It's virtue signalling. That's what the green party does. That's what all the green parties across Europe can ever do. Sure, it's useless bullshit by idiots who don't understand reality, but that's the green party for you (but hey, if you voted for them, at least you can feel good about it on facebook)

It will be interesting to see how that plays out. I guess we'll have to sacrifice Germany to show that this green energy revolution isn't viable

How to prostate to russia 101
Unbelievable how this managed to gain support in germany.

By importing shitloads of Russian natural gas.

I always felt the greens were just useful idiots for the Kremlin.

They will move from coal and nuclear to magic happy fairytale energy that is 100% clean. #SaveThePlanet.

Belgium has it worse, most of our energy comes from nuclear and faggot greens and socialists think that solar and wind power can replace it. Their response to the quest of what we will do if we have a massive deficit? Import it. Import from where? The french nuclear reactors at the belgian borders...fucking retards

They'll move to Solar and Wind which they are already have trouble keeping a supply of and have to import nuclear energy from surrounding countries. Nuclear is the only way to go.

Also they "sell" wind and solar power to the neighbouring states when it's higly produced, but Germany pays the other countries.
It's super ridicolous.

Greens are basically children

tell them to fuck off and get 75% of your energy from nuclear like france did

It's not, especially the ban on fossil fuel cars.
Green parties are a meme worldwide for a reason

>"Hey guys lets fuck the planet!"
>"No"
>"This one really rich dude will become even more rich!"
>"Oh ok then"
>100 years later everyone is dead from heat deprivation or too much toxic air

ACCELERATIONISM!
ECONOMIC COLLAPSE!
GIBSMEDATS STOPS!
CHAOS AND CONFLICT!
FORCED MASCULINITY!
WARRIOR SPIRIT BACK FROM DORMANT!
WOMEN GO BACK TO SUBSERVIENCE!
NATURAL LAW WINS!

Is Wendelstein 7-X a meme or not?
Does it actually have a chance of generate a net positive amount of energy?

EVeryone who tells you it's feasible is retarted. It'll cost hundred of billions if not thousands also.

Look at this fine example where it's applied somewhere with an actual chance of it working :
> Tilos Island, Greece, sun all year round, quite a nice amount of wind
> Goal : full solar and wind power
> Funds : european projet, 13 mln eurobucks
> Island of 500 inhabitants
> Conclusion ? It's hard and they actually had to create whole containers with batteries even there because it's STILL too unstable of an energy.
> they still have a backup diesel because the batteries may not be enough

aiolikigi.gr/en/green-stories/το-έργο-tilos/
It's kind of alright in this case and it works because it's 500 inhabitants, but it doesn't scale well to 80 mln !!

In addition of full green energy being next to impossible, the green faggots also want to convert all cars to elecricity. Our own government and notably Paris as stated retarded things in this aspect. That would mean an enormous new consumption they will have to provide for on top of the daily one, rendering the whole ordeal even harder.

These people have simply no grip on reality.

expect power bills to rise sharply per bill

That's what happened in AUS. The geovernments tried to switch off coal power plants, they stopped the mining boom by placing tax after tax on coal, and the bills rise by about $50 a quarter.

My current bill for 3 lights on at night, fridge 24/7, and computer for a few hours at night is $560/quarter

All the greens ever manage is to sky rocket energy costs when enabling their fantasies, because they can't tax away something when there is nothing there yet to switch to. Green energy is absolutely the future but they push for their shit too fast so they can stay relevant because every political party is partially green today.
They just demolish the transportation sector, rural living costs (greens are mostly young idealist/retarded urban upper middle class) and they'll just force the last remaining industry to China where they can continue to pollute all they want for lower costs.

>Average electricity bill set to jump to $1524 in 2017
>electricityandgas.com.au/average-electricity-bill-set-to-jump-to-1353-in-2017/
Lel. Doesn't even work in Australia, which is nothing but desert, huh. Still, 1524$? I pay like a couple hundred euros per year or something

>Green energy is absolutely the future
No. No it isn't. Especially not here up north (untenable seasonal changes in output). The future is first nuclear, then fusion.

The greens' energy policy is like their immigration policy. Infinite refugees, infinite welfare, fuck maths. Who cares if it will work, as long as it enables virtue signalling

I'll let you in on something.

Pensioners in Aus don't pay shit for anything. My uncle, 68, retired, owns about 35 houses in Ipswich and Brisbane area, all renters with young people in them, he's a scrudge with money, wont spend a cent on anything.

Literally gets a cheque from the power company for $600 per quarter because he got 5KW solar system on roof when the governement payed 44c/KW of power he produces

Seething

And that's how the jihadis will get fissionable material. China is going to have a do a snatch-n-grab an denuclearize Europe one day.

Rent-seeking with 35 houses? Wow, your uncle is really Jewing the Australian economy

>the governement payed 44c/KW of power he produces
44c/kWh? Fucking hell, here electricity costs 9-12c/kWh when you buy it from electric companies

RIP germany

I meant future green energy technologies, ones that aren't even on the radar for decades yet. Mixed with clean fission (reactor generations able to use near 100% of the fuel compared to single digit % today) and fusion.
Going balls deep green with today's stuff is insane, like environmentalists buying electric cars ignoring what went into the production of the batteries.

It's almost like people these days hate independence of any sort.

Who exactly cares?
Isn't it entirely irrelevant from which resource Germany gets its electricity when we are facing much graver issues.

>Can someone tell me how this is supposed to be feasible?
No. But no one at the green party can either.
It is just their retarded strategy.

>I am curious, anyone want to try to understand this shit?
No. I really do not care.

This is energy not electricity you fucking retard

How is this feasible....it isnt

Agenda 21.

wasted

youtube.com/watch?v=4b8ZsFszE8I

We need like 100 gigafactories. 1 is already done, another 20 is being built.

Record solar price is 2c/kWh (tho it can be argued its cheap because its shitty, unstable source with additional cost)

>you're being turned into commie somalia

Well the countries surrounding us too. The energy grid is interconnected. So France and Poland and others providing us with electricity most likely will go down to, if our grid collapse.

Germany is the nemesis. Love the blame this country will getting for it.

Record solar price is -3c/kWh in Germany where there has been an abundance of energy on really sunny days, whereas usually solar doesn't produce enough energy and they bridge the gap by buying foreign nuclear or by using coal plants

>green party
>wanting to get rid of nuclear
That's how you know they're owned by the solar/wind lobby, any real green party would kill to have nuclear as an option or even the sole power source, the US green party is the same way and its fucking stupid.

I read an article about the so-called Verkehrswende (traffic change) that plainly stated that less people will be able to afford cars in the future.
They want to take away the cars from normal working people.I hope enough realize how evil the Greens are and stop them before 2030. Austria managed to rid itself off the Green party, maybe we can do the same.

Green Party politics stems out of anti-nuclear (weapons) politics. There is a lot of debate within the party about the low emissions of nuclear power being beneficial for climate change but the ongoing issue of nuclear waste: its storage safety and cost concerns. And the ongoing reliance on mining.

There are also philosophical debates around the centralisation of electricity production as an analogue for centralisation of power, compared to a democratisation of electricity generation via solar panels and wind turbines.

I can assure you though, the solar/wind lobby has no money to give us.

T. former Australian greens candidate

>ongoing issue of nuclear waste: its storage safety and cost concerns
Storing it safely is very much doable. As for cost, can't imagine nuclear doing worse than wind or solar

>Is Wendelstein 7-X a meme or not?
It is a meme.

>Does it actually have a chance of generate a net positive amount of energy?
No, it has no such chance.

>Austria managed to rid itself off the Green party
It was a real group effort, the whole nation came together to tell these radical, feminists to fuck off, just look at this sexy parliament. Let's hope everyone realizes just how unnecessary they are and they stay gone forever.

>This is energy not electricity you fucking retard
Yeah, I posted energy because I talked about energy and not electricity. You could have easily understood that if you read the post. You do know cars burning oil today are not electric?

The whole point is that only 3% of our energy use is from wind and solar. Only looking at electricity generation is completely misleading and what green party shills do.

Solar does not make sense in Germany. We don't have a lot of sunshine here. Also, we are so far North, the efficiency of solar PV is like 1/4th of solar PV in North Africa.

>It was a real group effort, the whole nation came together to tell these radical, feminists to fuck off, just look at this sexy parliament. Let's hope everyone realizes just how unnecessary they are and they stay gone forever.

And now you all want them back in parliament. Next year, you got 4 Landtagswahlen and the Greens will likely get into each one of those parliaments...

Fucking krauts polluting us with their shitty coal, I make you -20% on my Areva catalog Hans.

Weren't front members of this party involved in pedophilia or something not too long ago?

german government wants to get off of nuclear? didn't you guys just invent a badass reactor or something?

>And now you all want them back in parliament.
everyone is glad they are gone, wtf are you talking about.
>Next year, you got 4 Landtagswahlen and the Greens will likely get into each one of those parliaments...
unless Pilz runs again

>everyone is glad they are gone, wtf are you talking about.

There is a core since the beginning advocating for it.

And even they couldn't get laws changed. They massively pressed the narrative to early childhood sexualisation.

Until there becomes a method of a reliable way to store renewables in order to stabilize its output, minimize energy waste, and hold enough for when production starts, it’ll never be a feasible option

>Research Affairs
>600 Online-Interviews

What's the range of variation here, like 4%, he will rape the Greens some more, you will see.

just looked it up
n=600/max. 4 %
4% for a party that got like 4,2% really tells you a lot

This is why democracy doesn't work. Cheap polemics for the masses and politicians who have no idea about the shit theyre deciding and dont care to inform themselves about it either.

Let them do it. Honestly, it would be hilarious to see these fucking idiots pay 60 cents for a kWh. Stupid fuckers.
Downside is, I also woulde have to pay 60 cents, but that's totally worth it.
