Scanlation Thread

What are you working on?
What do you wish got picked up?
What do you need help with?

>What are you working on?
Mitsukubi Condor
>What do you wish got picked up?
The rest of the Ben-to manga
>What do you need help with?
Wouldn't mind help with redraws.

What's the best advise for redraws? The reason I ask if for instances where the spreads of bought digital manga is butchered to all hell. I'd like to make a clean spread if possible.

Does anyone know which chapter is this? I read all scanlated by niggerstream and I don't remember this page.

>What are you working on?
some oneshots
>What do you wish got picked up?
a lot of things, but I can't remember anything specific right now
>What do you need help with?
nothing

Please post an example

>Mitsukubi Condor
good, it's better than amalgam of distortion

Can someone trannslate number girl.

>What are you working on?
some hdoujins (mizu, china, etc), yanagida fumita's untranslated works

>What do you wish got picked up?
All Rounder Meguru, Momoiro Meloik

>What do you need help with?
Momoiro Meloik's raws

I don't know either, I don't recall that page in any chapter.

I really like this manga though, I wish those faggots would translate it faster.

>What are you working on?
Godspeed.
>What do you wish got picked up?
Anything I'm tempted to do myself so I won't be anymore.
>What do you need help with?
Redraws and translating everything I don't have time to do on my own.

>All Rounder Meguru
I don't think it's dropped, just incredibly slow.

>What do you wish got picked up?

>What do you wish got picked up?
Kyokou Suiri.

Kodansha picked it up.

I'm assume you mean joined. It has like what, half an inch missing?

For something like that you're better off either seeing if another bookstore has it without a gap or not even bothering.

I can help with rd tonight, I'll be back home in a few hours

Doubtful considering from past experience, it has been identical even from the original source site. RIP. Well thanks, user.

What got you into doing this?

>get a proofer because no confidence
>corrects things I don't agree with but surely proofer-san knows more than I do
>check other translation they did
>realize they know less
>all those things I didn't agree on are probably wrong
Never doing this again. I feel so dumb.

That looks good.

Don't remind me.

Good proofreaders are hard to find. A good one is needed if the TL has the English writing level of a high schooler or the vocabulary of a middle schooler, or to fix ESL TLs. Often times, however, their level is just as bad, and they change the meaning of lines.

why official digital manga is ripped so little? no scene? scansgroup culture? poor otakus?

>tfw no proofreader

Does anybody really care? Chances are that people have already read the scanlation one.

That's one awful looking credits page.

Scanlations are most of the time worse than the official translation. For example Viz does everything better than Mangastream.

I have some Yoshida Mitsuhiko anthologies, and Takao Saito's 007 that I might scan over the weekend. And a bunch of other shit that no one cares about.

I think it's actually done by groups that also scan comic books.
Dorohedoro's official release looks clean and crisp while the scanlated one looked way grittier.

No idea, it was just curiosity after lurking Sup Forums and the archive. Anyway, I cant deny the fact that I would like some official manga ripped when a series is or was in hands of scansgroups with catastrophic quality like with Btoom! or Bokura ga Ita.

Halcyion Lunch is an actually good non-school/shounen comedy. Please translate. Know a group willing to edit.

Has anyone ever hired someone to do scanlations for them? Around how much would it cost for a few chapters?

I know someone who you can hire to TS for 50 cents a page. You'd have to look hard for groups though,

I think I know someone who might be interested, you have contacts?

I'm scared that this is literally me.

>>get a proofer
Which?
