True. The 70s and 80s TSR (dungeons and dragons) orc was a pigman, and that is what inspired japanese orcs the most.
Tolkien orcs were poorly defined and every artist had a different take on them. Warcraft orcs are the modern western fantasy orc and peter jackson orcs eventualy helped standardize what tolkien orcs looked like for most people.
But in Japan orcs are still the 70s AD&D orc. Japanese fantasy doesn't stray far from first edition monster manual.
