4th year med student here, can confirm. Out of all the peopled who repeated a year in my class in med school, the vast majority of them were black and the vast majority of blacks repeated.

But for the vast majority of degrees you do. Obviously degrees where minor fuck ups have harder coursework, but those jobs are few and far between. Most jobs just want a degree, and most degrees only requirement is turn in the homework and don't skip every class. At that point it does become a problem, because you're giving racial preference in an area where there is no competency requirement. Oh yeah, and when they graduate they are fucking golden because they fulfill a diversity hire position.
