Honestly the part that most bothers me is the change in hand positioning. The rest are just minor details and maybe the difference in texture is just lighting.

I'm guessing the hand was moved to make it better supported, right? I don't get how some manufacturers can fuck up some other sculpts so badly though, can't they just use the same fucking mold?

Hair is way less detailed, skin has no shadowing, the knees are on a sightly different position, the prints on her dress are underdetailed and really decolored on the final product, colors are not so vibrant overall, head ison s sightly different position, shes smaller than the proto, among other things

The paint is really different, is not lighting since you can see multiple angles of the prints.

Why even bother living?

I don't notice any difference in shadowing, or major difference in the hair (it has slightly less strand separation, but for the most part is identical). If I squint really hard the decals may be less detailed than the proto but it's really hard to even tell. The big disaster is the paint and color, really.

The shadowing is really noticeable around her collarbones, the left one has proper shadowing, the right one is flat.

The hair on the right is a blob, and the rubbon is a plastic blob as well compared to the flatish lookig left one.

You don't have to squint to notice the decals difference, just look at the pink part of the dress near the base, or the purple zone on the other side of her.

The proto on the left has actual real-life self-shadowing, that's why the collarbones are shadowed. It's really hard to tell if there's any paint shadowing there but it doesn't seem like that's the case.

The hair on her head looks literally identical. The strand falling down over her breast too. Left strand is curving in a slightly different direction but otherwise also looks the same. It has the same ridges and details. The right strand is the only ones that's really affected, there's less flaring out. The ribbon seems to be on at a different angle (more inclined) but that's it.

The metallic prints? The pattern seems to be a bit smaller on the left one, but the material looks the same. It looks a bit faded because it's reflecting less light. The other one you pointed out is also there, but you can just barely see it because of the angle of light reflection.

Overall, a lot of it *looks* more washed out because the base colors are more washed out, so you have much less contrast.

Still on the fence about that, most likely gonna grab the rerelase
