I was recommending the anime to someone else and I wanted to find that chart where Sup Forums compiled the possible character inspirations for each character. Does anyone have this picture?

I didn't save many of those pictures from when the first cours was airing. This was the only thing I saved.

Whoever retitled the tracks in that one FLAC torrent went full retard, by the way. Had to make my own tracklist for that. I mean, really, they hand us tracks named directly after episode titles and he still gets it wrong? What an idiot.

Kikko. We NEVER got an explanation for this line. Also, it would have been nice to see more allusion to her race and to her specifically being Ikeya–Seki. The fact that they're connected with celestial events and the shooting star theme could really have been tied in with the idea of wishes ans wish-granting better.

There's a side manga (or maybe it was a LN) centering on an AU where Kikko is the prime protagonist. Of course it was never scanned.
It is funny how re-occurring background characters got more interesting development (but less screentime) then the main cast.
And even though this was to be expected ("BONES original ending" and inability to tight up the episodic plot to a satisfying conclusion), the end came as a huge disappointment.
