Twitter seems pretty dead too though, especially with right-wingers getting banned constantly.
The only people who really like it are frantic SJWs and public figures
Carson Torres
It makes you realize how small the internet really is. Since everyone is connected with like 6 degrees of separation, it's really just several small communities, that can completely change or be displaced anytime.
I don't know about the next few years, but just think what's going to happen when Google Translate makes it possible to comfortably use forums in any language?
Easton Sanders
I think they knew Net Neutrality finally had its chips stacked against it by the ruling class/kikes, and that Facegoy was gonna take a big hit because of it.
Colton Campbell
By your own criteria the stock says otherwise.
Colton James
They know the internet advertising crash is coming soon
Grayson Stewart
People use it less, and less as they get older normally, and most of Gen Z seems to think it's stupid. Thus, they're losing customers, which aren't being replaced.
William Parker
I haven't checked Twitter's stock
But I do think people are very interested in what Trump is saying and the other political controversies happening on there, so maybe there are a lot of people on there at the moment
Michael Sanchez
Zuckerberg owns majority voting power even after all that.
Jonathan Reyes
>Peter Thiel He would know. He knew Trump had a real shot at winning. That's what the data was showing and I think that's why he backed Trump. If he's bailing on some of these stocks there is probably a good reason
Leo Bell
YES YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Parker Ortiz
From what I have seen from my sister etc is that the gen z are ALL on Snapchat and Instagram. They have Facebook's but never use them
Wyatt Green
Z uses snapchat and instagram. Twitter and kikebook are dead.
Oliver Miller
this. I'm surprised it hasn't yet.
Connor Wilson

Adrian Murphy
>it looks dated even on the mobile app, use it on a pc and its godawful >no end of 35+ people on there active, kids just don’t want to be on there with their parents >people just don’t see mark zuckerberg as trustworthy, especially regarding privacy >snapchat and instagram are far better platforms to talk on >messenger and the fact that i have to have a facebook account in order to use tinder are the only reasons i still have facebook, I’m far more active on snapchat and instagram >when I do use it pic related appears constantly
Gavin Russell
(((Android))) has been making it harder and harder to root or effectively block ads.

Austin Wood
The real answer is they know net neutrality is going to sever a huge amount of their users and its value will plummet
Tyler Peterson
These people are wrong. Instagram is rapidly replacing all other social media apps. Picture sharing, video sharing all better than Twitter and Facebook. It's even replacing Snapchat with the new Instagram stories.
Xavier Ramirez
All the attention whores left for instagram.
Brody Howard
>Facebook Was originally a cool website to keep up with friends and chat with women. After it was opened to the public, quickly went to shit and became filled with ads and idiots arguing over fake news without realizing it was fake.
>Twitter A glorified RSS feed; loses most of it's user base due to being a lefty, sjw haven.
Both are shitty and MySpace was superior.
Jack Sanders
The facebook guy is running for president. Hea just getting rid of conflicts of interest
Matthew Wood
Twitter stock is dogshit what're you on about?
Nathaniel Fisher
I was thinking of creating a website where people can delete facebook and it checks to see it is deleted then updates a graph so we can all watch the decline in real time.
Robert Flores
good
Charles Diaz
Facebook depends on "net neutrality" because without it ISPs can more easily sell user meta data. What that means is facebook wont make as much $$ selling your data because they have to compete with ISPs.
Matthew Ward
I think you're onto something, I'd be curious to watch how the stock market for internet sites reacts to that going through
Cooper Hall
The real worth of facebook to society is -10billion. It is a bit overvalued atm.
Levi Hughes
Twitter is an excellent tool for following wars and conflicts. Sg & UG wouldn't have existed or would have been half dead without it.
Jeremiah Powell
Instagram is doing fine, Facebook own that.
Honestly the only reason i still have a Facebook is for normies who use it as a chat platform. the news feed is fucked beyond all belief.
I follow shitloads of pages yet always see the same posts every day. often I'll see something for multiple days in a row.
and Twitter is dying a slow death, good shit.
Dominic Reed
Myspace really was superior. What was a major problem for it, genuinely, was that many users would upload dozens of autoplaying enbedded videos to their pages that would often freeze up average PCs of the time period.
Brody Campbell

twitter is hopeless now, if you set up any kind of joke/troll account they lock it after your first tweet and demand your mobile number before unlocking it
Camden Watson
This
Jordan Wood
Yes but everything pretty much has been going up the last three months since we're in a bubble
My point is for how known and established Twitter is, its stock isn't worth much which speaks volumes about the company, especially since they're going to run a right wing gulag in December
Dylan Gray
look at twitter's fundamentals though. no profitable quarter ever. (well, they want to make this to be the first profitable one ... I wonder if they succeed). also that huge number of employees (~3500) just to keep some servers running? twitter reeks of CIA operation
Xavier Peterson
>tfw I haven't had a facebook account for 9 years now because I wised up to their tricks once I found out the name of the founder was (((mark zuckerberg))) and thought about how stupid people would have to be to trust a jew with their most vital information.

facebook, reddit and twitter were too dangerous, that's why they had to clog it with shills and sjws.
Parker Campbell
Quick rundown on this? Why would it, too many people using ad block?
Hunter Russell
#metoo was the official death of facebook
Jonathan Robinson
social media was always an e-bubble. it doesn't actually produce anything and isn't inherently worth anything even though jew hucksters made billions off of selling out to domestic spying agencies and to advertisers. most likely now the NSA is just snooping on the goy using what's hip and trendy with kids today--which sure as fuck isn't Faceberg's Goybook anymore.
Dylan Ramirez
I have facebook as an easy way to keep in touch with immediate family and keep abreast of music coming up I want to see. Other than that I've turned off almost everyone's news feed because it's all so fake.
Leo Cox
Ok well then all things considered equal, Facebook stock has gone up by only half of that rate at best in the last 3 months
Like I said I've never even used either so I don't care but this evidence is the same criteria as the thread topic.
Camden Murphy
A bet peter theil has taken the primitive pill and has realized technology does not benefit anyone.

Yeah thats essentially its best use.
Great way to talk and communicate with normies.
I keep money on my phone for emergencies, but otherwise i communicate via discord, steam and messenger.

this. Sup Forums is too retarded to nip this shit in the bud and would rather reply to soros slide threads like "how do we fix western women"
Oliver Martinez
I communicate via mouth and body language.

Will Myspace make a come back?
Jeremiah Garcia
Is the snapchat and instagram thing mainly for women? I dont take photos or videos of anything about me at all, and prefer talking to my friends through messenging programs like Discord.
Cameron Rodriguez
Ah yes, I'll use my mouth to talk to somebody in a different city. Great idea user, how loud do i need to shout out the window?
Adam Jackson
Friendster rennaisance when?
Grayson Cooper
My sister and her friends are obsessed with Snapchat and Instagram.
Gabriel Martin
Stop talking to people in different cities. If it is for work, people work better when in person.

How will stock trading websites react to this? Will it effect them?
Nathan Butler
I clearly said I've never even used it so how could I love it?
Ayden Thomas
no, advertising is a scam. most clicks (or a good portion there of) are bots, clickfarms, etc. google, facebook and co tried to keep this a secret but if the traffic coming from ads doesn't match your usual conversion rates you get very suspicious as an advertiser. or if you're naive you just conclude that the traffic from that platform is shit and you stop advertising.
google's ad platform currently is like AOL. they lure in new advertisers (mostly small businesses) with $100 vouchers. the advertisers start their campaigns, lose a few thousand dollars in the process and never bother again. so google has to lure in more small businesses. and at some point this stream will come to an end.
facebook is just shit overall. when I booked ads there they billed for views and not clicks. my test ad got 20,000 views and 4 useless clicks. that's abysmall. and I got billed $15 or so for that. I spent a few weeks tweaking the shit because my ad could have been shit but I never got an acceptable click rate out of it. I don't know if they still bill per impression or if they changed to per click. but facebook is a really bad place to advertise. well, most people go there to use the messenger or sign up for some event. they don't want to buy anything.
online advertising works - but it doesn't work at a scale to support multi billion companies. facebook's valuation is horribly blown up. google's, too. for me facebook is a $100 mio company.
Austin Hill
Internet ads don’t work, even if you don’t use Adblock no one pays any attention to them. Companies are starting to realize this and are going to stop purchasing ad space, causing already unprofitable sites to enter a death spiral. I’m a bit worried about this desu
Carter Torres
AAAYYOOOO!
All yall's niggas should go to Instagram, and Tinder n bleach them thots.
Evan Howard
It's for women and pavement apes.
Levi Davis
This is good
Although how does this place still run when nearly everyone here uses an adblock of some description?
Ethan Mitchell
Has anyone seen Tom?
Andrew Moore
small sites will be fine. if the owner isn't a retard. having tailored ads to your visitors can make you a few thousand usd a month. attach an online shop to your RC model community and you have a nice business going. but shit like huffpo, buzzfeed, etc. good bye. they have no product. the shit they produce most people don't even want for free. the quality of their traffic is so bad that they couldn't ever hope to recoup the costs of having employees. running a "news site" earning multiple millions of dollars a month (or even a year) is a pipe dream without a scammy ad system.
Hunter Perez
What's going to happen to e-celebs like Lauren southern and all this YouTubers? Are they still going to make money?
Parker Cox
>implying Sup Forums hasn't already started a meme campaign against him

internet advertising is totally stupid.
who clicks on unwanted popups and buys anything?
all you feel is rage that it's happening.
Nathaniel Cook
I accidentally clicked on a Myspace page a few months back and now it's like a budget Soundcloud.
Jordan Bennett
They will just do whatever the fuck Sup Forums finds interesting at the time.
Dylan Sanders
Good, watching those places crash & lose their moral superiority will be glorious to witness
Also thanks for sharing about advertising, I'm curious to learn more
Ethan Nguyen
This. MySpace is now for failed bands, hope it comes back but I'm not betting on it
Joseph Barnes
The only ads that work on me are coupons and discounts through e-mail from places I already bought from. Generic internet ads, which I only see on my phone due to ublock on PC, I don't even read.
Lincoln Hernandez
>internet advertising is totally stupid.
That is why most of it is going down the shitter thanks to amazons continued expansion over the world.
Why would anyone want ads, when all they can do is go to amazon and look for what they want
Sebastian Myers

as another user said: the stock market is heated up. it's all speculation. worse: it's speculation by normies who have 0 knowledge about tech or software.
if mark zuckerberg (or whover is in charge over at twitter) says they are going to make money with $magic the normie will believe it. fear of missing out does the rest and people buy stocks of companies who have no viable product.
but if you're a serious investor and do you homework you will realize that twitter's fundamentals are absolutely shit. their product is absolutely worthless. they haven't managed to turn a single profitable quarter in 10 years. and no, they're not like amazon who re-invest the profits. they just don't have any profits. employees and servers eat it all up. (I have a hunch that they will be firing quiet a few people to get their profitable quarter)
the only way to make money with such a stock is to speculate on finding a bigger idiot who buys your stock for a higher price.
I mean if that's your game go and knock yourself out. but a stock price rally alone doesn't say anything about the prospects of a company's success. it just says something about market sentiment. but that sentiment can be heavily misguided.
Asher King
uBlock saved my life from the internet road signs

Snapchat, people under 18 barely use facebook. It's Snapchat naw

Sven, you know advertising is to get people to buy shit they didn't know existed/need right?
Also Amazon's shipping is overpriced, if I buy something chances are if I get it from the sellers website directly its cheaper than Amazon
Everyone fucking watch, the reason for the bubble is FAANG
Lucas Morales
>Net Neutrality will be repealed. >Facebook doesn't want to pay 10,000,000 a year to censor their echo chamber >Sells off stocks make it someone else's problem.
There's one thing about Kikes, user. They have a 6th sense about when their wallets are going to get hit. That's all it is. They know it's coming, they're getting out and passing their future money hole on to someone else under the guise of a "great investment"
Facebook is going to get fucked into the ground when net neutrality is pulled.
Andrew Roberts
>Zucc he is running for office
Jayden Reed
>Also Amazon's shipping is overpriced Non-Prime pleb.
Justin Morales
I've been using WrongThink for the last month. it's pretty good.
Carter James
Out of its don't even know about instagram.
Facebook is for posting family photos for your aunt to like.
Twitter is for leftists to pretend their voices are being heard.
Instagram is the big new normie site, it's mostly free from opinions. It's just people posting pics that make themselves look good. It's a more positive platform. A big circlejerk of 'inspirational quotes' and 'positive vibes', set to pictures of nice food, scenery and clothes.
Cooper Brown
>Sven, you know advertising is to get people to buy shit they didn't know existed/need right?
But even if they see an ad with something like that they will just buy it from amazon
Leo Jenkins
google and facebook bailout when
Benjamin Johnson
Faceberg owns instagoy. So even if these fags don't use one they're still playing into the pockets of the kike masters.
Snapchat is an even more insidious data-mining operation, because it makes morons more likely to send private/deeply personal siht because "lol its only temporary"
