Net Neutrality is now another moral win for liberals; we apparently will no longer have it in practice, but at least history has recorded who took actual freedom away.

NN is protecting internet giants from being blocked or throttled by ISPs
most of the big internet giants are responsible for the current intent censorship
if one private company(youtube, facebook) is able to remove what they dont like from thier service another private companies( ISPs ) should beable to do the same.

google is allowed to remove things
youtube is allowed to remove things
twitter is allowed to remove things
netflix is allowed to remove things
facebook is allowed to remove things.
but NOT ISPs are allowed to remving things from thier service that they prodive ( internt access )
how is this fair in anyway.
****** if you don't like what your ISP is blocking, or throttling. ****** SWITCH ISPs *******
but you say the ISPs have monopolies? you can BLAME THE GOVERNMENT for that. why are the ISPs to blame for government failure?

why doesn't the government run its own lines, if they want it to be a public utility.
this will
>create jobs
>better America
>let ISPs do what they want, like every other private company.
>create competition
the problem here is NOT the ISPs it's the government.

why should an ISP be able to remove content? more importantly, how the fuck are they going to REMOVE content? you are retarded

why shouldn't they be allowed
they are privately owned company
they are selling a good called internet access, if they want to remove parts of it or charge you more they have every damn right to do so.
if you don't like it you are free to switch to a different company

Our opinions don’t matter. That’s why the House elections are gerrymandered the way they are. Dems win almost every popular vote, but don’t have control. Republicans want to make it harder to vote because they know they aren’t truly or fairly winning. We do not matter to them. Most of them only care about undoing what Democrats do, and making things better for corporations that donate to their campaigns. When Republicans are in power, things get worse for the average person. I truly do not understand how people don’t get this.

this is the level of understanding I've come to expect from Sup Forums

>When Republicans are in power, things get worse for the average person
and when dems are in power the whole country gets worser

explain to me why a private company should not be allowed to to do what they want with the goods that they are selling?

This is how I feel. If the internet giants are going to fuck us over anyway, then we might as well get fucked by the ISPs because the ISPs will also fuck the internet giants. The web giants lied about the intent behind Net Neutrality. It was never about protecting the little guy-- it was always about protecting their near-monopoly empires from being encroached upon by the ISPs, who might utilize special back-end tech to give their own services an advantage over the established services and sites.

Me dropping my support of net neutrality is basically me flipping the table because I found out that everyone is a cheater. Let Google and Amazon fight it out with Comcast and Verizon without the government's help, because none of these companies are looking out for our best interests anyway.
