I wear headgear constantly and have hair as well. 35 and just starting to go bald now. I have strong test levels though and am 6'3 and not a manlet and have good big three lift totals so am not fussed about thinning hair. As long as I'm not a manlet I don't care else I would be worried. I see most guys who have nothing but good hair can amazingly hide behind it with their infinite lack other other skills.
