>zero fanservice >zero character stereotypes >themes that are relevant for literally everyone >unique style that utilizes the full potential of it's medium >god tier soundtrack >several legit 10/10 episodes >real depth without ever trying to be deep
Yuasa's new studio is making a new anime this year.
Christopher Moore
>because we are alive, we feel joy wow that's so pretentious
Tyler Perez
haha good meme.
Is that the movie that was announced a while back? I haven't heard anything about it in ages.
Jeremiah Young
>draw 2 frames with shitty art >loop it for 2 seconds >hipsters will call it a masterpiece
Easton Price
Doesn't matter how many frames there are if it looks good.
John Brown
>Is that the movie that was announced a while back? I haven't heard anything about it in ages. A tv series, it's on their twitter.
Luis Evans
Exept it doesn't.
Kevin Gray
Ping Pong is great but I agree the animation is the worst out of any Yuasa work.
Joseph Myers
Agree to disagree.
Elijah Ross
DEEPfags need to leave.
Daniel Hall
You can feel the motion of the scene with only "2 frames". For me thats pretty good.
Angel Russell
Fanservice doesn't mean what you think it does.
Jack Parker
It's not pretty, the colouring is flat and it's not particularly well animated, so what looks good about it? The best aspect is probably the sense of weight and speed but even then, considering this is a sports anime that's like the absolute minimum requirement.
Levi Young
>A tv series, it's on their twitter. Oh shit I must have missed this completely.
Ping Pong really isn't that deep. It's just genuine and emotional. Anyone who complains about it before pretentious is solely judging it on the art-style because they can't handle anything that looks different.
Charles Phillips
I just think it looks good.
Ayden Sanchez
>nitpicking literally 2 seconds that don't look great Not to mention it's more than two frames and any other Anime series is guilty of the same level of laziness.
Angel Jones
Was pretty great (did it air in 2014?). Sup Forums these days probably does not remember or care.
Amazing how an unorthodox art style can suit a series...
Daniel Reyes
Atleast they have decent art to compensate.
Christian Anderson
Nothing inherantly wrong with fanservice, unless you're some sort of feminazi who's allergic to that sorta thing.
