Daily reminder that if you want (((net neutrality))) you are a soros shill.

market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=229021

Here's my letter that I sent to my representatives in Arizona

Hello I am writing in support of net neutrality. This current administration is trying to dismantle everything I love about the internet and the business surrounding it (that I am very well versed in considering I've spent the majority of my life as a tech enthusiast/IT professional).

Just to give an idea of what the removal of net neutrality means for the average customer, Time Warner could've promoted Blockbuster Video and essentially "punished" Netflix before they could ever get to the point where they're competitive in the market while they held a stake in Blockbuster Video. Same applies to Comcast and Ask Jeeves taking the place of Google before they could develop Google Maps, GMail and Android. Another great example would be a corporate conglomerate incentivizing users to go through their own digital payment services instead of PayPal.

All these are billion dollar companies that have come as a result of net neutrality and I do not wish to see it repealed just because the Obama administration was responsible for classifying it as a utility so corporate greed couldn't interfere with the free market. I know regulation is the opposite of freedom but clearly these greedy corporations can't be trusted and I don't want to live to see the day where the internet resembles a cable package where you're paying this much for educational sites, this much for gaming, this much for news.

The internet should remain as is. Data is data. Don't kill one of the most thriving industries in our country. Don't ruin a good thing because the tech sector is one of the few things we have going for us in this country.

Fuck off you contrarian faggots.

Net Neutrality is just Obama era orwellian tricks. Legalized online propaganda farms to infect discourse because they had friendly "regulators" overlooking it. Real bottom line oriented ISP's wont allow such rampant abuses

You have that backwards fagget

What the fuck are you talking about? The ISPs bribed officials to the point where they had exclusive zoning rights and usage of poles to the point where even (((Google))) couldn't move in to compete.

Muh free market doesn't apply to ISPs.

Pai is /ourguy/

Have fun paying $9.99 on top of your existing internet package to access your Mongolian Throat Singing discussion forum.

I'm sure (((ISPs))) won't abuse their power and force their agenda down your throat for 2020/2024 too.

Don't ever make me go there again

Net Neutrality
>Hey cable companies! You can't refuse to carry anybody's bits, even if you disagree with them!

>Sup Forums
REEEEE JEW TRICKS, CABLE COMPANIES SHOULD BE ABLE TO CENSOR ANYONE THEY WANT

>limbaugh
Mark Levin is where its at.

Rush spergs out WAY too much.. Always talking about his stack-of-stuff that he never gets to, OCD's on his weekend, nfl, I-phone, fucking kids books, golf, *if* he's not off on one of his 100+ days vacation..

Levin is on point: topic, rant, topic, rant, topic, rant.. good shit

>net neutrality is one small party of net neutrality that everyone agrees with even though no one is proposing getting rid of the anti-censorship rule.

It's not just about censorship. It's about stifling competition before they can ever become a real threat.

They're right you contrarian douche
>muh website tribalism
pic related is (((you))) or your (((masters)))

Wait this doesn't make sense

>Netflix pays for 100GB/s network capacity
>Uses 100GB/s network capacity
>somehow Netflix is doing something wrong

What the fuck am I reading? "Bandwidth" is not some finite resource, when Comcast promises to provide 100GB/s of network capacity, they should be obligated to provide it and not complain when Netflix uses it

Fuck off mark one time i tried to listen to your show and you were so miserable and quiet literally couldnt hear you on the fucking car radio with the volume on 30. go play some studio 54 disco 70's fag music like you like you kike

Weev on net neutrality
youtu.be/B03eByZia5I
Are you smarter than weev?

This desu

when did comcast shills start posting here?

>It's not just about censorship. It's about stifling competition before they can ever become a real threat.

>stifling competition
You mean like, making it impossible to access the competition? Like censoring them?

No, that is literally all net neutrality is: Being neutral to data packets irregardless of their origin or destination.

TREAT ALL PACKETS THE SAME

There's no tribalism, OP is clearly a liar.

>if you are against Reddits latest activism you are from Reddit!

Nice samefagging shill. Kill yourself. OP has it backwards.

It's a shitpost user

God forbid these ISPs upgrade their infrastructure with the times, it's not like display resolutions, websites and vidya games are getting bigger or anything :^)

I'm unironically beginning to think that Sup Forums posters are pic related

Funny, thats exactly what jewgle does with the data market. Its almost like the selling of data is what this is all about...

Everyone pushes for net neutrality laws written by think tank liberals is unironically pushing outright soviet communism

I dunno, Comcast started bitching at Netflix for more money for whatever reason and started this whole thing.

Go back to plebbit, faggot.

>neutral data instead of allowing ISPs to charge you for each individual website you access is soviet-tier communism

you forget that the second have penis.

Neutral according to the corrupt fucking shady as hell fucking federal government? using language penned by think thank liberal Obama and EU dicksuckers? go play in traffic dummy

I can't believe this got turned into a partisan issue.

Becasue netflix threatened to sue if comcaat prioritized other customers data if that customer paid for priority.

Really though, shouldn't important businesses take priority over netflix? I for one enjoy it when my doctor doesn't have to wait for data to be transmitted from one hospital to another simply because he has his own clinic.

Alright, at least I won't be surrounded by a bunch of morons going against their interests on the subject of net neutrality while they're on a website that would suffer greatly because of it :^)

Have fun going against your interests user. I'm sure it won't backfire at all whatsoever.

Net neutrality is government-enforced socialism for the Internet.

If you support it, you don't get to complain about "muh socialism" when debating other political issues.

No, legally forcing a company to not enter a market (data selling) is communism, and Google approves.

Obama literally could not do anything that wasnt wildly partisan intended to inflict harm on conservatives and white working class. Reap what you sow etc

This kills the shill.

You only come here to push the latest activism. No one gives a fuck about you or your propaganda.

>Comcast started bitching...for more money
imagine that!

Or you know, they could just upgrade the infrastructure so it fits the needs of the market?

It's not like internet costs pennies on the dollar compared to what you're being charged or anything.

Time to spam this pic, I guess.

>pushing for neutral data and telling ISPs to upgrade their shitty infrastructure is a political position

Jesus Christ.

Ding
Net Neutrality as exists allows the US government to use taxpayer money to fund NGO and "civil society" groups like Media Matters For America who then bankroll shill teams to spam and muddy discourse online (legalize propaganda program).

Removing Net Neutrality as exists will essentially destroy the paid shill teams who annoy us all here, as the actual service providers wont pay antifa wannabe neckbeards and middle age single spinster chicks to shitpost for .02 a (you)

>Simple. Anything Obama touched was poison for freedom

I would take second over first. Why are there no crafty women anymore? I sew and cook, my wife cannot do either. She's literally nigger tier intelligence, I have to do everything for her.

Republicans aren't for poor white people either.

>Fantasy and proof you are a moron
Nice letter

>There are people who watch television on TV or computer
Pleb

So Netflix can continue to take the majority of the bandwidth? Or so Google can continue to use the infrastructure to make mad bank harvesting data from Comcast customers? Yea sounds like such a great deal, I have no clue why the ISPs would be hesitant to do that.

OP's IQ is that of a tree compared to Rush.

you especially dont get a say if you like public roads...

Nice source, its funny how reason conveniently left out how Pai was a former Verizon lawyer and, as his actions and statements in that interview deduce, that he is still being paid for by them as well

How are they supposed to upgrade their infrastructure if you ban them from making money because Google/Netflix said so?

>muh ISP bogeyman.

t. Google

Google's massive use of ISP infrastructure is already passed onto me, the customer. Why the fuck would I care if the ISPs start charging Google more? About damn time, I say.

>I want ISP dicks in my ass but at least im not socialist :DDDDD

Ho many burgers will be there after Net Neutrality is repealed?

In short, we're still fucked no matter who wins.

>I take Google dick because I hate the ISPs So!
Spoken like a true faggot.

ISPs upgrade their infrastructure the way they always have: TAXPAYER MONEY

>muh corporate bootlicking
From a conservative viewpoint, you're as bad as ShareBlue, go fuck yourself

You're still here? How sad must your life be to shill for Silicon Valley 24/7 on a Chinese cartoons forum?

Stormfront wasn't shut down by any ISP though, it was shut down by it's domain registrar, a content provider. Registrars are not internet carriers.

This is the shit that anti-NN don't understand, because they don't know anything about network technology

Yeah it'll destroy the shills that come here as in Hiroshima won't cooperate and you'll be charged to come here (and you won't so Sup Forums will become irrelevant)

Brilliant.

Why not? They already imposed caps on the customers. They don't need to double dip.

Are you not aware of the profit margins of running an ISP? They're sitting on copper infrastructure while collecting billions of dollars for paying Pajeets to tell customers to reset their modems and providing an extremely basic service that is based on inherited infrastructure.

Trump sure is though. Whatever he decides on this is right

Explain DNS, packets, NAT and the routes that packets travel then desu.

Protip: you can't, Soros lover kike

The actual FCC proposal, rolling it back two years by getting rid of one vague rule.

fcc.gov/restoring-internet-freedom

You're wrong, no one wants to get rid of anti-censorship provisions.

So NN does nothing to prevent sites from getting censored.
Thanks for confirming that this NN bullshit doesn't matter, and isn't what it is said to be.

Way to be the PR agency for big corporations, shill.

So you want it to cost the taxpayer more money instead of them getting the money from kike Democrat censorship corporations?

How is that a good thing?

>calling people corporate boot lickers when you don't want Silicon Valley to be regulated against

Copout shill arguments. Everyone knows it wasn't done by ISPs, that's why ISPs are an unjustifiable bogeyman and NN is a stupid kike law that does nothing to prevent actual restrictions of freedom by private corporations.

...

So they should charge customers more instead of charging Google.

Ok, google shill.

Only fucktards who think huge utlity companies care about micromanaging shitposts on the internet. Notice how no one has a problem with the phone companies spying on their customers?

But who does have a problem with spying on peoples phone calls? Oh yeah the US government

That and they're being lied to by omission
Pai in the article posted above tried to downplay the net neutrality infractions, and only listed two out of the at least 12 infractions that have occurred since wheeler set it in motion

Also, why is it that every Telco that is against net neutrality reported during their earnings calls, which they can't lie during or else get fucked by the FTC/SEC, that NN didn't affect investment in infrastructure whatsoever and has not affected profits at all?

Friendly reminder: I'm glad my life isn't so pathetic that I watch the news cycle of other countries

You still can't explain why they should raise my taxes instead of making money off of the backs of kike censorship corporations that actively oppress my free speech.

>literally all of reddit is on chicken little campaigns that the world will end if NN gets repealed

No user, you are the ledditors.

pretty much this

You're retarded.

Because they're not only going to charge more for Google, they're going to double dip and charge you stupid fuck

ISPs are your friend, good goy I totally trust Comcast to treat me fairly as a consumer when it's completely deregulated :^)

This is why I'm not a conservative or a liberal, they're both retards when it comes to certain issues but at least the average liberal tell corporations and billionaires to get fucked.

>implying I'm defending silicon valley
You're a fucking idiot thinking any of these corporations are the good guys, especially the gatekeeper ISPs

ugly fucking durka durka street shitter

Because NN secures the data market for Google and friends from new competition entering. That is what this is all about, retard.

I will be sending a letter to all the representatives in Arizona in order to cancel out your retardation:

Hello I am writing for the repel of net neutrality. This current administration is trying to reconstruct everything I love about the internet and the business surrounding it (that I am very well versed in considering I've spent the majority of my life as a tech enthusiast/IT professional).

Just to give an idea of what the implementation of net neutrality means for the average customer, Time Warner could've promoted Blockbuster Video, I mean remember that? I remember when Blockbuster videos were on every street corner, but thanks to Net Neutrality, it has taken away precious job creators. Same applies to Comcast and Ask Jeeves. We could have had a butler search engine, isn't that fucking awesome? But no, thanks to the domination of Google, we can't have nice things. Another great example would be a corporate conglomerate incentivizing users to go through their own digital payment services instead of PayPal. This creates jobs.

All these are only a few companies that have come as a result of net neutrality and I do wish to see it repealed just because the Obama administration was responsible for classifying it as a utility so corporate job creators couldn't interfere with the 'liberal free market' AKA communism. We both know regulation is the opposite of freedom and clearly these corporations can be trusted. I can't wait to live to see the day where the internet resembles a cable package where you're paying this much for educational sites, this much for gaming, this much for news. It gives the consumer more choice.

The internet should NOT remain as is. Unlike man, all data is not created equally. Industries in our country will start to thrive when Net Neutrality is eventually repealed. Also the tech sector is just one of the few things we have going for us in this country. We also have coal and working hard for an honest day's pay.

Serious question because I haven't been paying attention:
Are they repealing the all of net neutrality or just the bit Obama added last year?

lol you think the ISPs are going to charge jewgle for what YOU consume. You think the ISPs havent spnt the last 100 years wiring everything on TAXPAYER MONEY. they didnt stop when phones were popular, or even cable.

wanna buy some land?

>common knowledge will be exclusive
>i like subsidising work i dont like
Its like yoir not even human or smart for that matter.

At this point, I trust ISPs far more than Google.

They dropped "don't be evil" after NN passed for a fucking reason.

>The internet should NOT remain as is
MAKE THE INTERNET GREAT AGAIN

So why would they charge customers more when Google is obviously going to be a much greater source of revenue?
You call me a stupid fuck yet you can't into basic business logic. Go fuck yourself, retard.
Notice how the shills always redirect any complaints towards silicon valley companies towards the ISPs. Almost like they are instructed to obstruct some facts or something...

>Friendly reminder that if you are against net neutrality you are Reddit cancer and need to go back
Friendly reminder that i am against net neutrality because it will finally get rid of this fucking web site.

you got fooled by a woman, i'd you have nigger tier intelligence

they're different sides of the same jewish coin

No it's not, it's about preventing the ISPs, who are the only way consumers can access the internet, from gouging those consumers
Why is it the ISPs were preventing YouTube from being streamed? Or why was Verizon and Comcast deliberately slowing Netflix streaming?

The longer I am here the more I realize pol simply goes against popular movements to be different.

So user, would you agree to a compromise that Google and Twitter can have net neutrality, as long as they are banned from censoring their own platforms?

Or are you going to transform into a corporate shill after calling us all corporate shills, like a typical dishonest NNigger?

How are ISPs gate keepers?

Silicon Valley are actual gate keepers and you're not trying to regulate them in any way.

***This***

You're not making any sense retard.

Hi friends,

I am from India and I am inquiring for job as paid Comcast shill. I am be wondering who I can contact for this position as I have very good and excellent qualifications.

I am looking to be making 200 rupees per hour which is very good money. I will be excellent Comcast shill and always on time on my VPN.

p.s. I promise to take my poo in loo this time

Pay your share, kike. Stop hiding behind fucked up laws and pay for the service you are exploiting for insane profits.

>strawman

Soros isn't bringing his best.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, but Reddit is overwhelmingly pro-NN from the top down. I was browsing r/fitness last night, and even there where it's totally off-topic, the moderator had a big pro-NN thread and was deleting all the posts expressing an alternative viewpoint or complaining about injecting politics into a fitness board.

Who gives a fuck about your feelings towards these individual companies? That's all you faggots talk about

What does it matter when (((ISPs))) have the right to charge YOU for individual packages so you want (((news)))? Fuck you, give them your money. You want to play (((video games)))? Fuck you, give them your money. You want to browse your favorite cave painting boards? Fuck you, that's not included in any of our packages :^)

>So why would they charge customers more when Google is obviously going to be a much greater source of revenue?
