How did France solve its Islamic terrorism problem? There hasn't been a big attack in 16 full months, since Nice. The US under Trump has actually seen more deaths from Islamic terrorism in the past 10 months than France has seen in over a year. What is France doing right that the US and other nations are doing wrong?

Have you been to Paris lately?
It is crawling with heavily armed gendarmerie at every corner.
I can think of four attempted attacks in Paris in the last few months alone that were immediately shut down.
> cop shit dead at Arc de Triomphe
> car full of gas cannisters driven at police
> police attacked with hammers outside Notre Dame
> machete assailant at the Louvre

In all these incidents, and others the assailants were swiftly dealt to. The threat is still very real in France.

Well for one there have been plenty of attacks. I was in Marseille when two cousins had their throats slit by a muslim. But you are kinda right OP, they high profile/high death toll attacks have stopped.

France is essentially under self occupation. Not just gendarmes everywhere but uniformed French infantry can be found at metro stops, SNCF stations and churchs with any sort of profile. Less so in Normandy, Bretagne and Centre...but PACA and Île de France probably had fewer Nazi soldiers during the occupied years than they have French soldiers now. Its striking.

Also the government has become so hostile to muslims that they will literally live in putrid conditions (nothing they aren't used to I guess) waiting to get into the UK. The French government can seize any muslims assets or business for any reason at any time with no due process. Mosques can be shut down without notice. Police are technically forbade from profiling and harrassing muslims but they will clearly give any young muslims men a hard time. France has all but stopped taking refugees too. Completely cut off the spigot, even more so than Germany.

>but PACA and Île de France probably had fewer Nazi soldiers during the occupied years than they have French soldiers now. Its striking.
This.
It stands out. Walking around île de la Cité or Champs Elysées you can't help but notice the armed presence. I know its meant to be reassuring but it also makes the place feel unsafe AF.
The enemy is firmly entrenched in the country, they're there for good. All the French authorities can do is try their best to shut down any attacks asap and limit the death toll

>Egypt just suffered the biggest Islamist attack in its history
>popular outrage guaranteed, the attack happened in a masjid
>Islamist terror striking everywhere
>Unexplained loud noises in large urban centers all over the world
>I'm getting a misspelling note for "centers," what the hell
>four explosions in Malmo in two days
>Putin and Assad victorious in Syria four years after Israel took for granted it could take Assad out
>Hey guys, how did lazy, cowardly and conciliatory France "solve" the terrorism problem?
France was for years the softest target in the world. French police were on record in mainstream papers whining that they were used to token security details at gay pride parades and were scared of no-go zones. Macron actually dared to use the forbidden phrase "Islamic extremism" at his Versailles speech. Macron was all about the establishment trying to shore up what it could of its own priorities while being practical.
So you want me to be happy that Islamic State is currently on the back foot (thanks to Putin) and that French police are finally doing a job they should have been doing years ago? What will you say when the attacks start up again? For as long as France tolerate no-go zones, the French cannot be said to be serious about security.

There is an Israeli song lyric, "Only here, when you walk by a store window and see a guy inside with a huge machine gun, you feel safe." This by itself explains Israel's interest in the "refugee" disaster. Israel has succeeded in making universal their highly ideosyncratic weltanschauung.

>>four explosions in Malmo in two days

Malmo has explosions every week. Nothing new there.

France went in to a state of emergency meaning they can arrest anyone and go in to any houses and keep it all quiet.

They are secretly rounding up all the Muslim scum and putting them in jails. Muslims time is up, it's happening.

I've always felt that the French would flip against multiculturalism the fastest of any nation in Western Europe. At the end of the day the French are extremely proud to be French. They don't take any shit from people who go to war with the idea of France. They've literally fought five revolutions and many wars before those to preserve their country.

The great muslim purge has begun. France restarts the new crusades.

I wonder if this is really true, while a state of emergency did happen, I wonder how they actually deal with Banlieue,
that are essentially no-go zones. There are definitely ISIS scum in there like there were in Molenbeek in Brussels.

It's always been "unnatural" for us and is a big point of contention here since the tradition has always been "Multiple race, but only one culture"

It went up in speed recently with the election, the socialist party is currently tearing itself apart on the subject of Islam, and the right counterpart too on a smaller scale

Even Macron is taking some very nationalist stance compared to his campaign, litteraly just told an african illegal "You have to go back"

Now I'm not deluded, this is all talk so far, but it give a little hope

>They don't take shit from any people who go to war with the idea of France
Unless of course those people are actually going to war with France, in which case they kinda just roll over.

They ignore it and arrest any victims.

I like moves like this, Macron is low key doing what Le Pen said would do at a lower level, hopefully more cultural restrictions on the mudlslimes makes them chimp out more and the French people truly wake up to their menace.

Wait until Israel and Palestine go at it again. France will fucking explode.

Solve the Islamic terrorism problem?

Lmfao if you think its over

Quite frankly, given that radical Islam is basically an eliot-rodgerist outlet for discontented Arabs, and that arabs are something like 20% of France, if not more among the youth, there will likely be no end to terrorist attacks anytime in the future for the next 50 years. So long as Muslims exist in France, there will be terrorist attacks in France.

Lol bait.
You wish France didn't have terror attacks like Italy

the banlieue can definitely be considered a nest of terrorism but for the most part, religious extremism is not very popular there, they prefer dealing drugs and killing each other
lucky for us
Lately the attacks have mainly been carried out by mentally ill loners suiciding by cop

rothschilds are starting to realize that they need to make their plan a little less obvious, hence macron's actions in the past 8 months

soldiers or no soldiers, the same thing is acomplished. the populace lives in fear.

>Italy
>No Islamic terrorism
