Why is she so irrelevant and useless in her own series? There's like 40 volumes at this point and she's still the same hungry brat she was since day one.

you could have said nothing.
You can't fool me, Indexfags don't exist anymore.
>Why is she so irrelevant and useless in her own series?
Because Misaka literally hijacked the series.
>irrelevant
She literally triggers most of the events of the series
>useless
She supports Touma against Magicians and can defend herself
>40 volumes at this point and she's still the same hungry brat she was since day one.
Misaka has been shoehorned doing the tsundere routine every time and it took about 40 volumes to take a fake relevance that it lead to nowhere just to appease her fags
>her own series
Kamachi wanted to name each volume differently (like A Certain Deep Blood or A Certain Scientific Railgun) but Miki wouldn't let him
We need a volume where Index changes her outfit and goes on an adventure alone.
Did I wander back into 2011
>She literally triggers most of the events of the series
Thats in OT
In NT the most she's done is being Sphinx mobile house
>in her own series
Because it isn't her own series?
Her name was just there because she kickstarted some of the initial events in the series, but her relevance is minimal at best.
She can't be relevant if she doesnt' gets a role nor screentime to begin with.
And even then she is the most important person for Touma only followed by Othinus.
She literally is what motivates Touma to be a moral justice fag in order to be what he thinks the old Touma was.
>She literally is what motivates Touma to be a moral justice fag in order to be what he thinks the old Touma was.
I am pretty sure he stopped giving a solitary fuck about old Touma many volumes ago.
I want to brutally beat Index then force myself on her sexually when she's to disoriented and in too much pain to fight back.
>moral justice fag
>Choking out innocent girls to interrogate them
>Using said innocent girl as a bludgeon
>Hitting people with buses
>Using a Heavy Machine Gun
>Possibly (re-)killing a ghost in love and being ready to jump out and finish the job if needed
>moral justice
The Touma of old is gone mate, we Rip and Tear now.
Old Touma would probably punch current Touma in the face
And then get his ass beaten. Although, considering how jaded old Touma was because of his past, I can imagine they'd just drink and bitch until their livers fail.
He does the fact he wants to be welcomed once he gets home by Index is proof because that's what old Touma wanted.
To be fair, those were Kamisato's bitches. Any one of us here would have done the same thing and worse to those smug cunts in his position.
The girl he choked and tossed was just a random student, same with the guy he lariat'd
He would, honestly he's heading down a dark path and I ain't liking it.
Touma's idea of necessary force has been steadily approaching Accelerator levels ever since NT10. The kid's going to snap soon.
At least read the novels carefully
The doom is a notice on his door saying that he failed the semester and will have to take it again
He'd go on a quest to make Othinus a god again so she could remake the world to one where he passed the semester.
...
I hope Index does something in the next arc.
Hopefully it's in England.
I'd be down for a quest to find Hugin and Munin
Kay help me out here. I just finished the main anime and I have the choice to start the Railgun series.. But the thing is I have no love for Misaka. Should I watch it anyway (because I've read its supposedly better made than the main series) or should I just move on to the LNs.
And when it comes to the LNs I have two I just finished the anime so I reeeaaaalllyy don't feel like completing the entire story so far again. So is it compulsory to just read the whole thing or should I start again from Volume 14.
Railgun is side stories, so it's not necessary but the manga is pretty good. The only part of the railgun anime worth watching is the first half of the second season for the better adaptation of the sisters arc plus the appearance by Item who will be relevant shortly after where the Index anime ended.
The Index anime was mostly faithful from what I know, but there's two parts that are good to read that I can't remember which off the top of my head for some foreshadowing.
Okay that's not too bad. I can kill some time with Railgun if I have to. And the sisters aren't too bad once you ignore the incessant "Misaka"
>open this thread
>pic related starts playing
can't make this shit up
kuroko #1
The Railgun manga has some hype moments, and Misaka herself is a lot more likeable in it. The anime is shit outside of the sisters arc. Still, it's not a terrible Idea to read/watch through the Railgun sisters arc just to get to know Item better before their appearance in OT15.
>The anime is shit outside of the sisters arc
The anime is actually quality SoL, but that's obviously not what is expected from Raildex.
>but there's two parts that are good to read that I can't remember which off the top of my head for some foreshadowing.
Epilogues of volume 6 and 13.
Does anyone else just not care about the girls or harem aspect of the series, like, at all? On top of that like over half the girls in the show look like they're twelve or something.
What interests me is that the world of the series is filled with all these people with all kinds of special powers. And the main dude's power is just to make everyone normal. Then he just punches them because they don't have any extra powers and are just normal people. Just a normal dude beating up all these people that think they're special with regular punches.
There's just something satisfying in the simplicity of that.
Because she is just a book. You should know this by now.
Is Touma over his memory loss? He hasn't mentioned it seriously ever since what happened in volume 22, does that mean he's cool with other people finding out about it? Will he ever tell his parents about it?
I like the girls, but it's not like even Kamachi himself cares about the harem aspect of it since we haven't been getting the occasional harem hijinks in NT that used to present every now and then in OT. Except maybe the obligatory tsun Mikoto scene but even that toned down some.
Does Touma get any stronger? Like better powers or a reason behind being able to BTFO every character he disagrees with. Because he is somehow winning fistfights with people obviously much stronger physically who would destroy him if they just started using muscle instead of magic.
It was so-so, made worse by Nagai's fanfiction. It had no soul to it in the anime with the character bleaching.
Kamachi seems to like doing that sort of thing in general, with added crazy shit.
2017 will be the new 2011, good
Misaka's popularity exploded and so focus shifted to her
In OT he develops subconscious precognition, only noted later on but it's been around for a while. Other than that the only real change is just being incredibly experienced at dealing with shit and in later NT becoming much more ruthless. I can't think of any Kamachi MC that gets a traditional power boost, they all simply become more experienced at their work and the benefits that follow said experience, like quicker reactions and fear boners.
>Because he is somehow winning fistfights
Anybody got that copypasta about how Touma has only won like 60% of his fights throughout most of the series? Anyway, the stat is including all the helps he gets while fighting the villain of the week. From allies to crucial info, basically he doesn't win every fight the ones he does he does so due to all kind of factors.
cry me a river at least she appears in vols while my waifu isn't. purple is my way of life. ;_;
Kamachi probably thought the series would be focused on the grimoires at first so that Index would get a lot of screen time but thought it would be boring as fuck to focus on her every single volume
Infantile freeloading nuns < canon 9/10 makeupless tsundere/yandere ojou polygot athletic violinist tomboys who bake cookies and have childish tastes
Funny
The "main heroine" became a side character and the "girl of the week" became the darling of the series
>tfw, still stuck in 70% of NT4
Can someone give me 300 48h days?
I only watched the anime, is the fact that Touma had his memory completely erased ever actually relevant outside of that parent arc that came right after it?
A new volume won't come out until March the earliest, you have more than enough time to get there.
He wanted to have each volume be titled "a certain _____", but was advised against it due to it limiting brand recognition.
It's only further relevance is that the big bad hangs it over his head and the implications that old Touma knew how to expand IB or had some knowledge about it. What he actually did know is up in the air.
Speaking about AAAAAAAAs, the chinks got their hands on Blood Sign 6 illustrations.
I can almost see the As past this page.
Yeah, Academy City is a boring setting,
won't somebody buy her a new pair of jeans already, holy shit
Volume 6 seems to have much more shading compared to the previous volumes, I wonder if the artist is stepping up their game due to the apparently popularity or something.
This. Cool things have already been done in Academy City like the dark side arcs
I wouldn't go that far user I just think that the recent events have led to a good opportunity. We've been in AC for a while.
He hasn't really referenced it since Index already found out about it and she was the main person he didn't want to know about it. The other reason for not telling anybody was a fear of being mislead using his lack of memories to take advantage of him. He's got a pretty firm understanding of the world around him now so I doubt he's as adverse to people finding out about it. I also think he told his parents during the school festival thing.
I didn't even notice it. I guess that explains a bit more why does that cover looks better than the previous ones.
While we're at it
>An eagle
>A loli
Some summoners are simply living the dream.
Basically the author is a talentless hack who can't spin a decent story so he compensates by introducing new characters/ powers every volume. Kinda like that Bleach fellow.
It doesn't helps the sales, even nips are not stupid to fall for her fake relevance bait
>she had more character development in the first 6 episodes than in the entirity of the LN
>none of it mattered because of Touma's amnesia
>AMERICA
I can't wait to see the name Kamachi gave him.
>クロード=マゼンタレイン
Claude Mazentarein, apparently. Or however his last name is supposed to be latinized.
Would Index ever willingly leave Touma out of her own will? Thinking about it I was wondering about her personal endgame. Would she really go back to England after all the shit Touma had to put up with for her?
Magentarain is what js06 used in volume 1. He's probably related to Azalea.
Magentarain I'm assuming, must be related to Azalea.
That poor girl is going to get bullied so hard going against both Kyousuke and Biondetta.
Touma's number one fear is that.
Index has forgiven him a lot of things but the only thing she wouldn't forgive him for is if Touma intentionally hurt a friend or innocent people and enjoyed it kind of like with the Terrorist from OT17 except he wasn't innocent.
If that ever happened you can bet Index will leave him, Touma will get a meltdown, someone will have to make him snap out of it, and he will travel wherever Index went.
So which option will hurt Touma more?
>he has a fall out with Index which after she leaves?
>Touma goes home and nobody is there, just a letter from Index saying good bue, even the cat left
>Same as above but the cat is there because she couldn't take it
>Touma goes home, runs trying to chase Index and when he catches up she ignores him leaving some words
I really hope Touma will finally snap.
Not just get mad once. Not some justified crap for higher cause. Not some hurr durr gotta save my waifu, sir Kamijou to the rescue.
I want him to take a step back, think about his life, say "I'm really tired of this shit" and go fucking nuclear. Fuck espers, fuck magicians, fuck gods, fuck keikaku, fuck memes and fuck ships. Only Touma on his holy quest to rip and tear illusions of every single twat daring to start shit. EVERY. FUCKING. ONE.
And finally once he gets so medieval on everyone's asses, the Kingdom of Jerusalem appears again, he will calmly go to the store, buy some eggs, walk back home, sit down, listen to the peaceful silence, take a deep breath and do his motherfucking homework.
Huh, this is interesting, flashback maybe?
It's really a 50-50 on whether or not she will leave. I doubt she has thought about it. Othinus can't leave because Touma's been assigned her jailor, but Index does have Stiyl and Kanzaki. He'd definitely be sad to watch her go, but I doubt he'd put up that much of a fuss about it since he would meet her again some day.
>So which option will hurt Touma more?
Index losses her memory again.
England decides to use it as a chance to convince her to leave AC.
>OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
It's
>YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
as in
>Tasukete yo
I can see the cursed words just before that and his usual response later in the paragraph.
I just think Touma will get his memory back.
Then we'll all see the real Touma and the current Touma duking it out.
My hope is that the real Touma is perfectly aware of the true nature of his powers and has done some SERIOUSLY awesome shit for and before he came to the city and he was simply dicking around for shit and giggles. Desperate for a symblance of an happy adolescence before he has to cleasne the world of all things or war with some random ancient evils or something.
What about the question?
Pre-amnesia Touma died. The memories were destroyed bro. What has been eliminated can not be brought back. Pre-amnesia Touma already had his chance at life let the current one continue on.
user, Akasha Records are a thing if someone with truly God power pulls that expect some confrontation.
TADA BANRI
A better question would be why doesn't the production committee force a singer to come out of retirement to perform anime theme songs again.
Because HEY BROTHER, READY FOR THIS FIGHT?
It's time to move on.
Does it matter? Side hoes mean nothing in this story of using fists to solve your problems
The only thing I expect from the very unlikely scenario that Touma regains his memory is some revelation about IB/IT and the reaffirmation that his life was, and still is, dogshit.
These guys get it.
She had more focus in OT but is still somewhat relevant in her connection/relationship to the main character as shown in NT9. I disagree that she hasn't changed at all. It seems like she's gotten not chiller but more used to Touma over the months. I also think she got closer as I doubt she would've easily forgave Touma as easily as she did in vol 22 if the reveal happened earlier.
There are only four Kamachi girls that matter, and none of them are in Raildex. Bros will almost always be the best part.
How would pre-amnesia Touma react to Kamisato?
He would murder that fuck's illusions.
This is the only acceptable answer.
If Kamachi didn't get dicked over on the title, Index would be a series of "girls of the week" instead of a consistent girls.
Her and Styl Magnus are my favs in the series.
How do we go from this
>White Queen
>Ohoho
>?
Nope, back to Raildex it is.
To this?
>Ohoho
That's not even the best HO.
Indeed.
Kamachi got so high on jerking off the Kamisato storyline that he forgot to give the arc a decent antagonist.
No words can express how appreciative I am that it is over. The kaiju battles and Touma going rip and tear were fun, but jesus Kamisato's sluts and Yuiitsu were such garbage.
Because it's not her series. Touma, Mikoto and Accel are the only characters that matter.
