Employees and customers have no say in the system whatsoever, that's why Heart Surgeons make minimum wage and the people considered "poor" by western standards are not infinitely more well off than people "liberated" under every single failed workers paradise.
A purely free market wouldn't work, the government has to have some kind of legislation such as anti-trusts to stop businesses from getting out of hand and making it impossible new businesses to start up. It's too unrealistic to say there should be no government involvement at all and that the free market will even everything out. There is a middle ground where neither group should have complete control.
