It has very little to do with that and more to do with watching an insecure beta isn't all that fun unless he eventually transitions into someone semi-competent. The problem with 12 episode shows is that usually this transition doesn't happen, if it happens it's usually far later in the LN/manga. Also, the market is oversaturated with this archetype.

Yeah Hestia is nice, but in my opinion she is no worth "suffering" the rest of the anime.

Come on, it's not THAT bad. Also, she has a pretty unique appeal to footfags (I'm not one, but there's many of them out there). She's a cute girl, those are a dime a dozen in anime, but cute girls who go around barefoot are not. She also has a nice personality that sadly isn't all that common in modern anime: she's allowed to simply like Bell without falling into a -dere archetype. She's also pretty possessive of her man, but not to the extent where she can be called a yandere. Possessive girls are cute (to a degree).

It was not bad, it was kinda average. But like I said Hesita is nice if she was only in a better anime.
