Summary for chapter 161

p01 - Naki is strongly stimulating her nipple.
p02 - Crashtime of Nip.
p03 - Sayaka still isn’t quick enough to defend against Naki attacks.
p04 - Sayaka endures for 3 seconds but the Zone is still on.
P05 - Right now, with how much stimulus Naki gave her nipple, it’s self-defense ability at max so the Zone is stronger and will last for longer too.
p07 - Sayaka won’t let it end here.
p09 - Reacting to Sayaka’s ass art Naki’s nipple felt joy…
p10 - As her nipple don't feel danger anymore the Zone is deactivated. Sayaka go for the kill with a technique to be used in fundoshi mode.
p14 - Sayaka not only realized Minamino’s Fundoshi mode but also made techniques to be put into use on it.
p15 - Minamino “met” a great junior that understood and believed in her techniques. As Naki used too much the Zone she can`t move anymore and declare it’s Sayaka and Minamino’s…
p16 - Victory.
p17 - The first time in 5 years that the Goketsu dominance was broken. Nozoomi “Congratualtions Miyata-chan. Really-”
p18 - “-congratulations!!”

Final page

Miyata smiles as she wins the race.

MUH

thank you for the descriptions!

thank you for the raws!

definitely didn't saw this way of countering the zone skill, only tried to think about how to deal with it

Thanks for posting. Great chapter and race conclusion. In the end Miyata held over three minutes and proved her wit and skill, a well deserved victory to me.
Next time will proly be some aftermath talks as this is bound to create some serious ass-shockwaves.

Wait, did Rin get downed in the previous chapter?

Regarding latest chapter:

Not really sure if I like the result.

While Sayaka still lost in pure power overall and needed Rin help and strategies to overcome the gap, it still think it may have been too early for a win against the goketsu. But then it also depends on how other matches against them will go.

Still think it could result in an interesting development to see them fail against the goketsu, and pretty understandable, the girls aren't even S class yet.

On the other hand, if this arc is supposed to showcase how the girls grew with the training camp, the ones we saw being the focus on races and winning will in the other hand lose early in a future race or not be the focus (Nozomi maybe being the exception, main character and all).

Near the end of 159, two chapters ago.

I don't even know anymore
what the actual fuck

I think she was in either chapter 159 or 160 (the current chapter is 161), 159 was (iirc) where Rin figured out the duration and cooldown of the zone skill but got assploded (ex-shiri-plosion) by Naki, 160 was focused on Sayaka's K-Acceleration's fundoshi mode and Minamino's background story

I thought that there would be two chapters, since iirc there will be a two-week magazine break after this issue

I don't understand.

this made me think, maybe it's also (at least partially) another example of teamwork, collective training and information exchange, and friendship improving one's winning chances in a match (in a more believable way, rather than only having friends help oneself by being a driving force), which contrasts with the way Sayaka used to be (and which may be, or may not be similar to how Naki currently is). Thinking about the match in retrospect, besides what you mentioned, Naki got her zone ability analyzed and neutralized (so her "damage output" was lowered), and suffered a sort of surprise attack (that she didn't anticipate, and couldn't adapt herself to, thus, she couldn't stop Sayaka's damage output).

Imho, even Sayaka agreed in that in her current condition, she couldn't match Naki's physical preparation, so even though she won, it's not (to me, at least) a clear 1vs1 victory, nor did she properly outsped Naki.

...

...

Yeah, a pure one on one fight against a Goketsu should result in a pure defeat for the main cast right now.

It still makes no sense.

...

Miyata needs to lose

...

UFKNWOTT. too soon

CUTE

...

WHAT

why the fuck are you reading Kotaku?

Miyata has such a wonderful smile.

Honestly though, who watches Keijo for the great characters, decent plot, good visuals and nice sound design.

I only watch it for the PLOT and BACKSTORY

fav cover. keijo really has the best covers

...

Kinda agree on this. I'll be pretty pissed if Aoba now goes on to lose her next race.

Offcourse she will, that's her job in this manga to job, just like it's Non-chan's job to win in a stupid way.

>Molesting 11 year olds is fine by me
>Sexualizing women is where I draw the line
wtf is wrong with people?

I hope Kazane will finally get to race someone allowed to beat storywise.

Heh, look for her previous race in this tournament.

Kazane and Sayaka are opposites on this. Sayaka wins all the races that matter, while Kazane always lose them.
