>tfw when I had 2 bitcoins when it was at $400
>tfw I cashed out

I have no money how do I get on the train?

It's still a good time to get in. This particular meme is going to send BTC to $12k. It's already shot up to $9100

Jesus fuck coiners are shilling hard tonight

Now is the time you sell, not buy.

Why not? I've been waiting to make this post for 2 years now

The only way to keep the price rising is to get more and more people invested.
Classic pyramid scheme.

i just remembered i have just over a thousand bitcoins in some relic wallet, i dont remember what site tho

Came here to post this

>He doesn't have 20000 btc on a USB drive

If new people stopped investing, the price would decrease due to lack of current demand growth, but Bitcoin would become insolvent like most Ponzi schemes (social security). Would you consider Gold a pyramid scheme?

HOW DO I GET ON THE TRAIN???

I HAVE NO MONEY??

wouldn't*

correct

Damn, big if real. Sure it wasnt mt gox or something dead like that?

Once the price stabilizes, how would one generate revenue from the asset?

no it was before gox, like sharewallet or betawallet, some stupid shit like that

Ah, well hopefully you remember it brah

1. It's not real until the bitcoinity gif
2. Therefore it's not 9000 yet.
3. Bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin
4. Bitcoin core is going to pump to infinity in order to try and kill bitcoin cash

But how long can it last?

Watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=rPO4BLw5OXc

t. nocoiner

been trying for 5 years and so far unsuccessful

BTC itself isn't the next best currency. In my opinion, It'll act as a store of value similarly to gold. Everything you're seeing in the crypto world currently is just as much a referendum on the failing global economy (USD Reserve Currency) as it is about new tech. This is just the begging of value of the USD plummeting. Gold and silver will be very nice pivot plays off crypto in a few years time.

You kept your coins stored on a sites wallet?
If it's not a brainwallet then you're probably fucked
Unless it was on one of the very few sites to survive for years like blockchain.info

Yeah btc is bullshit. Yall goys just dont learn.

BCH is the best one right now because it's where all the smart people are
most people don't understand what the tech is truly capable of
hint: its fucking software, it can do anything.

ETH is good to own cause of russia
XMR is good to own for privacy

Everything else is a shitcoin that you can trade if you've got the balls

didnt even care about it back then, no one diddddddddddd

I feel your pain mate trust me,
I'm not a nocoiner by choice
It's still worth buying what you can
Plus stories like yours are a dime a dozen in the crypto world, if that makes you feel better.

when BTC was new thing i sold my services in EVE online for excance of BTC coins.

I think i have around 50 BTC or more saved on my old gaming computer, which is at my parents.

Sounds like its time for me to cash up.

I actually think there is room for both BTC ETH BCH in the future. BTC acting as store of value, BCH as currency and ETH as the network. Moreno I think will 10x within the next 2 years as well just for black market capabilities.

Yeah, goy, let the government control your money

You have coins on multiple chains
read up on hard forks
I wouldn't sell yet, big things coming soon
good luck

Yeah that's definitely a possible outcome
The energy is with BCH but BTC might rise just to spite them
But you have to understand that bitcoin is only valuable because of it's utility. It's hard to be a good store of value if it isn't useful.

The Jews are literally being dragged kicking and screaming into investing in crypto. Even Goldman Sachs is going to have to offer Bitcoin trading options.

>Price rigging: An illegal action performed by a group of conspiring businesses that occurs when the firms agree to artificially inflate prices in an attempt to recognize higher profits at the expense of the consumer.
>investopedia.com/terms/p/price_rigging.asp

>sorry son we threw that old dusty computer out.

ok, thanks for info. I dont really know how it works and i had forgotten whole bitcoin, but i remember that it was exciting to gather virtual coins that can be exchanged into real money.

Which i actually did at the start, but then i found an easier way (and EVE invented PLEX) to turn game money and services into real world money so i forgot whole buttcoin thing.

I dont really really need the money, even it is a lot and i suspect that it will bring some tax problems in my country.

Naah, they use it to browse news and watch netflix (and dad watches porn for sure). Its still there, but it might have been formatted since...

Tax issues will probably be solved if you give things a few years..
And by then it will be worth much more.
If you don't need the money then I wouldn't touch it

Gold isn't very useful at all. It has a few practical applications, but silver and other metals are far more industrious. Gold, has been, and still is a great store of value simply because of its rarity and allure. Bitcoin is becoming increasingly difficult to mine, and potentially less profitable than BCH, but it'll maintain the store of value allure gold has imo.

>It will just keep increasing forever!!!

you're the idiot not owning any you fucking mutt

Yeah I could see that happening
The one cog in the works is the BCH/BTC split
Someone said maybe wars will be fought over this
We'll see what happens

These threads are getting repetitive/shilling? anyway jewgle'd this and found it interesting and possible reason for these threads popping up so often...Rothschilds and bitcoin link?

google.com/search?q=rothschild bitcoin

Bitcoin Market Cap - $149,278,740,613
Gold Market Cap - $7,000,000,000,000

I happen to think the price of gold is currently undervalued when compared to the artificial value of the USD. Bitcoin and all crypto still has parabolic upside.

Dude...Wait until the institutional investment gets situated. Giving investors the ability suppress coin value via short positions. That's when the wars begin.

They can only suppress the value in terms of fiat
anyone who fights will only hurt themselves

scam

Besides drugs, what can I buy with bitcoin or do better with bitcoin that I CAN'T do with my bank account/credit card. Using my credit card gets me 2% cash back. Bitcoin I would pay to get, and pay to use.

Surely it doesn't carry 9000 times the utility of a dollar, so why is it so high?

lol I'm always gonna be poor

This one is better

Bitcoinity gif coming soon unless dump
bitcoinity.org

transactions to anyone anonymously, store any amount anonymously, decentralized and not indebted to single governing body.
BTC is the most financially redpilled thing there is.

Ask people in Venezuela and Zimbabwe how the Utility of BTC compares to their currency.

You need someone's permission to use that money; hold or transfer it with a bank, send too much of it to another person. The government can print it worthless entirely out of your control, or freeze your bank account entirely.

more expensive to send gold than bitcoin, harder to divide too, and the government can come steal your gold from you if they want.

How can transactions be anonymous if all transactions are recorded forever and all coins can be tracked back from now to when they were first mined?

I wish I could have gotten in at the beginning but at this point buying one coin for 9k is just to big of a risk. Especially since at any moment they could just be discarded as fake money.

I mean what's the value based On? I don't get it. What's to say the system couldn't be hacked?

Alt + f4

don't buy until the next correction

Why do I need to be anonymous? My banking information is protected as it is. Regardless bitcoin is not anonymous.

Granted, the government or anyone for that matter can steal BTC from you as well if they know where to point the gun

you key can get stolen, just keep it offline.
but the crypto itself can't be hacked

I don't need permission to do anything actually. The only reason someone would freeze my account is if I was doing illegal shit. I agree bitcoin is good for illegal shit, but like I asked: why is it worth 9000 times more than a dollar when I can't even do what I can do with a dollar??

it's just a gamble
if people want to gamble thier money just let them

Why does this have value? You understand that the bottom will drop out on the value of the USD in your lifetime right?

>the government can come steal your gold from you if they want
The government can steal your bitcoins too if they want.

I live in Canada. I'm sure bitcoin is fucking huge in countries that don't even have good internet though baka kek

>the bottom will drop out on the value of the USD
then we are all fucked and what do you think the ruling class will do to bitcoin?
they don't care atm because it's not a threat to anything
once it becomes a threat say goodbye

It doesn't have real value, but neither does bitcoin. It's just a unit of exchange that everyone in the world agrees to use. My question is what does bitcoin do better than the dollar? The answer is nothing. In fact it does a lot of things worse.

>It doesn't have real value,
it's backed by military power

Yes you do, if you want to give someone a million dollars, you need to make it the governments business or else.
If you put too much money into your bank, the government investigates you and might easily freeze your account.

no stipulations on btc, plenty surrounding your 'privilege at best' to use banking and fiat.

not unless they force me to recite my private key, much easier for the government to take my money or assets unless I've hid them somewhere, which they might find anyway

The ruling class is pivoting to crypto as we speak. Guys, the USD being the global reserve currency isn't going to last much longer. I hate to tell you. Some form of blockchain tech will undoubtedly replace the current economic foundation. As it should.

There's the beauty, any transaction is verifiable and amounts per wallet are visible to the public but if you're not a fucking retard no one knows who your addresses belong to.

>Why do I need to be anonymous? My banking information is protected as it is. Regardless bitcoin is not anonymous.

Get a load of this faggot!

You may not need to be anonymous my good friend, but wouldn't you like to defeat the global bankers who seek to control your life?

Then there will be a patrician class that have crypto and will trade it in for the NWObux credits. Nocoiners the nuserfs in neofeudalist cyberfuture

>ruling class is pivoting to crypto
yes but they what thier crypto that they have control over

It's not printable. It has a limited supply, just like gold but it's easily divisible and it can be transferred to anyone in the world quickly and with low costs respectively. Superior to fiat in every way.

This is nonsense. I don't have a million dollars and neither do you, but million dollar+ transactions are done every single day with real currency and there are no problems. If your money is legitimate, it's as moveable as you need it to be. If it's illegitimate, then you have problems, which is a good thing unless of course you're a criminal.

Again I ask: what can I do with bitcoin that I cant do with a dollar BESIDES illegal shit?

The government can just throw you in prison for holding illegal bitcoins, they don't even need your key. But this is a retarded argument anyway, it's all just imagining what some theoretical government may or may not do. It's not really proof of any sort of benefit bitcoin has over anything else. You should really think of something better instead of this nonsense.

>has potentially ~9 million dollars in bitcoins sitting around
>hasn't spent every awoken minute to every day trying to track them down
Smells like bullshit to me.

to all the idiots saying they have no money but want to invest:

use your visa to transfer 9k to your bank account
use 9k to buy 1btc
btc appreciates to 10k within

Lol this guy thinks the people that rule the world are going to allow a bunch of technogeek neckbeards to take them out of power. Get real. You're living a pipe dream.

>but if you're not a fucking retard no one knows who your addresses belong to.
I think it's cute that you don't believe the government or corporations cant figure it out. It wouldn't even be hard.

you don't need $9k to buy BTC. It's divisible to the 8th decimal. You can buy a dollars worth if you want.

bitcoin will crash. It's a meme currency. Once the stock market bubble bursts, bye bye shitcoins forever.

but thats not how you make decent gains.

you need leverage.

Ive been buying btc on visa/credit all year and made well over 100k so far

You're being serious? You think it's cheaper to send a dollar than Bitcoin? Lol. It's the same price (free) but only if you're willing to wait weeks for your bitcoin transaction to get verified.

Because they say it has value.

Even the value of your bitcoin is based off the dollar. If the dollar collapses so does the bitcoin.

Do you seriously think if the elites were going to accept some new currently it would be bitcoin?

They are going to develop their own if they ever do. Something official. Bitcoin is a fad. And while I think it may make people some money they should get out now while it is ridiculously overvalued.

All it takes is the Fed sneezing to destroy it.

>defeat the global bankers
Until the value of the bitcoin isn't tied in any way to dollars, you ain't defeating shit.
That said, feels bad missing out on the bitcoin train. Too lazy to jump on board now.

Wrong leafshit

Buy low sell high

Yea! What chance do technogeek neckbeards have in an increasingly technologically driven world.

they don't know that I own any!
I could have sold them or lost the computer they were on/lost the private keys since the time I've bought on an exchange linked to my name

don't tell me about nonsense if you don't even know how bitcoin works lmaooo

Zero chance. Because anything you invent will be stolen, branded, and exploited by people more intelligent, more influential, and more ruthless than you. If you dont believe that then you live in a fucking dream world.

If you've never spent them or used them on anything then sure, they probably don't know you own any. They also aren't doing you any good, either. Same is true for gold and silver by the way.

Theres a few faucets around but dont pay much. Sites like earncrypto pay you in cryptocurrency for streaming ads (i leave it on at night) or doing other stuff. i get bout $120/mo in crypto and am just saving it and not touching it. if you do it just withdraw regularly into a personal wallet you control

Literally bitcoin is going up because 'one day' it will be widely used as a currency but it's not being used as a currency because it might go up. It's a paradox bubble of tulip garbage.

Have you ever tried transferring across national boarders? It can a very expensive process, especially if you do it regularly.

alts will be better for currency, bitcoin is often bought as a store of value, going up unlike fiat
Litecoin has 1 cent fees and almost instant transactions

It's not expensive or difficult. I bought my fiances engagement ring from the US, paid $20 for a bank wire fee (
