His fights tend to be the best.
the shit he talk about with his opponents makes you think.
Guys p cool, has a good Vice-Captain, bankai is shit
He has sexy swords.
You got that right.
X-axis was one of the worst fights in the series
Stark fight was ok and the Yama fight wasn't anything
First for Vic Boss
Ah yes, the king of letdowns and forgotten plot threads.
Im assuming his bankai is so bad because Kubo just didn't care anymore and didn't want to expand on abilities like he did in the second arc.
Spotted the americucks who can't into actual culture.
Im not saying the theme is bad, but a bankai that literally just kills both you and the opponent is objectively a bad bankai, at least in the context of a fight to the death.
Nips liked the fight.
It doesn't kill you, it gives the opponents who are in range the damage they caused back to them, drowns them, gives them a disease then beheads them.
Bankai disappointed.
He made the Stark fight look like a joke.
>not putting Bleach in the title
I'm disappointed, user.
>b-but muh cultural references
The execution sucked.
Japan disagrees.
The Bankai was fine imo
It was the fact that Kubo didn't let him kill Owlfucker with it and decided to drag the fight on with Nanao's bullshit sword that ruined the fight for me
Why is he so OP
This desu
It would have been great to see Nanao using the full might of her Kidou knowledge to aid Shunsui instead of asspulling muh god-repelling bat.
Like, she created original Kidou that could stop Haschwalth, why couldn't she use something similar with the NiggerBehindTheTrigger?
Could have been nice to throw in Lisa too since she was the only Visored who gave a fuck about their old Gotei buddies.
He is?
I love the panel from FKKT in which his face reflects in his blade.
Because Narita gave him undeath hax
Whether or not you liked the fight, introducing the Mirror Sword actually explains how the original Soul King was imprisoned in the first place, and is probably the best piece of ancient Shinigami lore introduced in the final arc.
Thanks, I guess?
Can we talk about Ukitake too? It really sucks that he got shafted. I'm betting it's because Byakuya was too popular to die and Kubo was deadset on having Rukia become a Captain somehow.
Losing Ukitake was sad, but hardly surprising, he'd been a walking deathflag for most of the manga.
I would've liked to see his Bankai as well, but his 'Kamikake' with Mimihagi may have in a sense been the 'full release' of his power. His Shikai, Law of Pisces, seems to be symbolic of the give/take relationship between Ukitake and the god which both saved and stole his life.
This, kek
OP HERE
damnn bro, I only watched the anime so I didn't know this. How does he die? Does he go out like a badass or is it some cheap shot thing? Does Shunsui get enraged when he dies ?
...
Why would you start a thread about the coolest guy Shunsui with a tumblr tier gif, it's disrespectful
...
...
He sacrifices himself in an attempt to become the new Soul King, technically it works but then he gets absorbed by Yhwach.
Also, read the manga.
Post yours then dawg. All Shunsui is welcomed
Will the Manga do it justice though? With a show everything is shown and well put together with colors and music and drama. I feel like with a book you don't have any of that but instead you tend to get more information which is the only positive thing.
>muh nips
Nips are known for their shit taste, fuck off. Such a hyped bankai and all it does it that? The latter part of the last arc was some of the worst shit I have seen.
He's a dick.
