Rockwell lived in a time where, deep down, people believed in a lot of what he had to say. He understood this. Of course, he was a controversial figure and despised by so many for his unabashed profession of National Socialism so soon after the war, but as we often say, the people who fought the Nazis had more in common with THEM than they do modern day Marxian "liberalism". This is, of course, not to simply mention that a different caliber of man existed then than does now.
This is important, because these days, the public is wholly and overwhelmingly against the sorts of viewpoints that Rockwell believed in. It's going to be a lot harder to get our Rockwell simply because racialist viewpoints of any sort totally vilify and ruin you in society, both socially and economically. It's a pretty well understood phenomenon that our views often attract the sorts of people who have nothing to lose, folks who generally aren't very articulate, pleasant people in the first place--that`s why most of our current "advocates" are a bunch of unshapely bumpkins with zero charisma.
It's a start, however. I have no doubt that our "Rockwell" will come eventually. I strongly suspect that he's probably browsing Sup Forums as we speak. I don't entirely disagree--however, the military isn't anywhere near the institution that it used to be. (((The powers that be))) have done everything they can to tear down a once prideful, hardy collection of men and turn it all into an absolute mess stripped of tradition, culture, and meaning.
Every friend of mine serving right now is so dejected and has absolutely no pride in what they do--weekly Powerpoint presentations telling you not to rape and educating you on "trans people" in the military will do that to you, as well as serving with so many lowlifes that give no fucks about the nation and are just there for welfare. Also, for what it's worth, we haven't really fought a "worthwhile" war in quite some time (although the experience is still certainly a formative one), and you currently aren't likely to be deployed anywhere or see any combat.
That being said, I do still think there are some sectors within our military that have held on. The Marines are still very prideful, and have been as resistant as possible to a lot of the changes that have weakened our military. There are still several units within the Army that are quite prideful, but it, too, as a whole, is pretty cucked. SOF units are one of the last true bastions of honor, pride, and tradition in our military, and you're quite likely to deploy and see combat.
Someone amongst us will come forward out of the current movement.
