HIJACKING YO THREAD
As a libertarian what books should I read to learn more about topics like Ancap and Natsoc? Hoppe is always name-dropped with regards to Ancap but is there a specific work I should focus on? Also pro-Natsoc Sup Forumsiticians always talk about the defining characteristics of the ideology, but I want to learn more and found Mein Kampf to be a terrible book and I never finished it (though I'm willing to try a specific translated version because I've had problems with German translated works in the past).
libertarianism is just liberalism, read the fourth political theory by alexander dugin to get a good idea of what liberalism has done to the world. Also read the end of history and the last man by francis fukuyama
I stopped reading books when I found out that making money was more fun.
idk mate, freakonomics?
theyre not mutually exclusive
The way Freakanomics was always described to me doesn't sound like it's what I want. But anyway, I didn't want to create my own thread and hoped bumping yours would get results.
reading is a Jewish trick.
Stop doing that shit.
it's actually pretty fascinating; connecting math and the real world
also, just read any of Einstein's original writings
they're not hard to read at this point.
Highly sensible and straight forward, right up to and including the EPR paper even to tell you the truth
I'm 5 books into the Aubrey-Maturin series right now, and I probably understand 1/4th of the jargon. Tbqh it's pretty enjoyable and rewarding when you have to look something up every other page.
Just because Einstein was a Jew and was anti-nationalist, does not mean he wasn't one of the best scientists to exist. You retards would deny a man who discovered oxygen if he was a Jew then dismiss oxygen existing. Does not mean I like Jews though.

(((science))) is leads to nihilism, there's a reason why the fruit that granted knowledge was forbidden
Seneca - Letters from a Stoic
you could have like read my next non-Australian post or something but that's ok
>(((science))) is leads to nihilism
only at first
In the end, if you are doing it correctly, )))science((( leads you back to the ultimate truth
Anyone know where to start reading about distributism?
...
I'll read that, but our country was built upon the auspices of personal liberty and the desire to say "GOVERNMENT PLS GO" is too strong to ignore. The ideal balance is a government that supports self-sufficiency and personal liberty while fostering a sense of nationalism and fellowship. Natsoc/fascist ideologies are always depicted as totalitarian and I wanted sources that didn't deal in vague platitudes to disprove it.
"Starswarm"
50 Shades of Grey
Boethius - A Consolidation of Philosophy
Tbh you're not going to find much out there regarding national socialism. At least from what I understand is that it's entirely based upon totalitarianism. From observation it seemed as if it was just a rag-tag form of government thrown together to be most optimal for the German people in a sense of collectivism. Hitler himself being a dictator was a sort of "ends justify the means." In any regard he is painted as a dictator because of his outlandish and crazy actions toward the end of the war.
Now here's the honest answer:
youtube.com
nationalism and family has to be above the individual, otherwise you end up with civic nationalism and globalization. Collectivism doesn't mean abandoning all individuality
>alexander dugin
you sound like you eat matzo ball soup on the regular.
RIDE THE TIGER -julius evola
>Collectivism doesn't mean abandoning all individuality
I suppose that this is what I want to read about then. How can collectivism still preserve personal liberty and limit government?
the only book you need
yeah but have you read for whom the bell tolls
also is this a meme or are christians serious about this being the only book you need becuase I have seen it multiple times before
If you're a sustenance farmer, then yes as long as you have an oral history of what works agriculturally in your area throughout the years
Once the church restricts all knowledge of past agricultural practices in the region, get ready, you are fucked
>collectivism (including nationalism/ethnos)
>Personal liberty
>small government
pick two essentially.
why not all three?
Philebus by Plato
dumbass hick
you cannot even begin to grasp the significance of the bible if you are not well read
Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, by Friedrich Engels.
People like (((you))) are why people think we're stupid.
If I could read I could respond to this post :'(
because small government doesn't have the power to stop jews from subverting the culture
why? because i don't give a shit about science? what the point of it? I'm here and i exist and all i know is my existence and my perception, why should i give a shit if some egghead tells me the universe is a simulation, its real to me, thats all i care about. i'd rather dedicate my life to people rather than space
that's why you go to church....
why don't you reject science once and for all and go lock yourself up in a room with one of those cozy gas heaters?
what for? to listen to your dumbass hick pastor? hahaha
reading (((books))) is a (((jewish))) plot to subjugate the goy
i don't reject science i just don't care about it
...
priests and pastors are the only people qualified to properly interpret the bible.
Peterson gets some undeserved hate here, what he's saying here is incredibly important
working on some cherenkov type stuff...
In other words, you don't read anything unless a class requires it
Sad

Origins and doctrine of fascism by gentile
Codex fascismo if you can find it
For my legionnaires, hitler's second book, mosley's fascism 100 questions. Maybe some stuff by carl schmitt, oswald spengler and other german conservative revolutionaries.
S'cool
Pun intended
>being ancap
>Not reading this
Just kidding, if you're ancap this book is essentially a guide to creating an ancap revolution through voluntarism.
t. Fascist
have you read a lot by the conservative revolutionaries? i wanna read about them at some point but don't know where to start
I'm honestly more impressed by Stalin than Hitler after reading this book. Hitler was kind of lazy but Stalin was a workaholic. Also he was more powerful than Hitler because he murdered almost everyone in the top brass of the military. Even Hitler couldn't murder 90% of his officers.
Also its kinda crazy how Stalin used his secret police to murder people then murdered his secret police with a different secret police.
Most recent completion. An essential read.
Short lengths describing methods of conditioning can be tedious to read through (though not necessarily, if you have any background in psychology or experimental psychology). However, the latter part of this book will serve as a pillar to understanding conditioning of all sorts.
Propaganda by Edward Bernays should be next. Very short book.
They'll make a lot more sense, shortly after digesting them.
sounds interesting will check them out
...
If murdering your own officers and police is a success, then good job, Stalin.
>Einstein not even once
Is it libtard or right winged book?
dis.
plz respond.
also just finished this a while ago, definitely a must read, anyone have any recommendations along the same vein?
Propaganda is really interesting, well worth the read.
Science HAS no political agenda. What now, bigots?
...
That book is trash.
Read “The Art of Seduction” by Robert Greene.
He’s known for his “Power” book but Seduction is all of that and better. It’s not just about romance; it’s about influence and control.
It reads easy and fun, and will destroy that trash book you’re reading.
The Mein Kampf of our time
should i get them both or would that be redundant?
finally got around to it
I am currently reading Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt. Quite interesting when it comes to the mindset of nazi Germany and soviet Russia
...
Democracy the god that memed
7 habits of highly effective people
> Hitler Ascent
> Tolstoy Confessions
> Kim by Rudyard Kipling
> Gulag Archipelago

...
There's a German movie based on the book. You should check it out after reading.
Hah just started reading it.
pic related
Nice. You should read Rousseau - Discourse on Inequality, once you've done. It's a small book, easier to read, but still a good alternative theory.
Most of time I read retarded posts on Sup Forums
Einstein was a kike Jew of the worst kind, he STOLE all his most important ideas from Poincare and , even then most of it is WRONG.
I love Carl Schmitts work
...
>All these boring ass books
Kek
What do you read, user?
>current year

I like science and psychology, and books reflecting on war, tactics both political and military related.

The chapter about not going near the water was invaluable for someone like me who has lost three children to large ship related disasters.
I'm interested in classical philosophy books for starters. Any recs? I've just finished Platos Republic.
Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle
