Does granblue really have a fanbase comparable to fate? The 4koma get about 1.5 RT at most on twitter so I don't know how well a meme anime would do. Touken ranbu is doing that right now as well but that also seems to have a much bigger fanbase.

The game probably makes way less money than granblue though due it it being a shitty kancolle clone with boys, due to the way those games work the incentive to pay isn't very high.

You'd be surprised how many people are willing to purchase more slots for their harem of pretty boats or swords. That said, you're not wrong. Because those games don't use gachas powered by real money, there isn't a lot of profit. Most is made by selling merchandise.

Kantai Collection is barely making itself a profit because they only made an arcade machine and a single ova about cooking curry.

Likely makes it back through merchandise, fujoshi are pretty devoted spenders on those sort of things, comparable to idol otaku.

Of course they don't pay any in-game shit, they just buy anthologies/merchs instead.

Also tourabu successful enough to have live-action musical stage play that BD sold over 50k.

I have a bunch of art from this series, but I don't really know much about it at all. Most of the art I have is of Djeeta, but it doesn't look like she's going to be in it. She easily has the most fanart out of the entire cast, so I don't really understand what they're thinking by not including her. She seems to be one of the most popular characters.

Grancers/haremshitters pushed Gran instead of Djeeta as the MC since their shitty LNs and manga were unpopular enough as is. Dumb fucks thought forcing him in the anime would work.

When the game first came out, they kinda needed to give people a reason to roll the gacha. According to their fate episodes, I think they should have shoved themselves aboard the Gran Cypher. Vira wanted to stalk Katalina, Ferry wanted to see the world, since her state of being doesn't seem to be caused by Celeste, and Noah wants to be with Rackam and his flagship.

KanColle is already killing itself with this retarded anime and movie we got. It's not even about Fubuki being a generic protagonist, it's about the director/producer not knowing what the fuck he's doing. We're getting doujins with better, coherent stories, for fuck's sake.
