Occultic;Nine

ASCENSION!

>best girl is the most pointless character

WHY IS THIS ALLOWED

...

FBI-chan is pretty important though especially in the later episodes.

yeah i'd hoped SARAI would have been more relevant too

Asunyan is so cute

Where the heck was the last 500 post thread for episode 11?

Can't see it in the catalog. Is there a possibility that we didn't get any?

It just hit bump limit

...

>Well, I guess that really makes us the true Occultic;Nine.

I can't believe they ended an episode like this.

Do you think the last episode will be rushed?

Left or Right?

True

It's funny because it's sort of true.

Sarai is fucking hogging the limelight though. Not that I'm complaining.

Gamotan breaking gay braun's ILLUSIONS with a punch

Aveline is pretty important though.

Looks like Aveline is jealous from Asunyan

So, any ideas about who actually "killed" Gamotan? If it was Izumi he would have said it by now, so we can exclude him.

It is also very likely that the same person stole the key from him, but that would mean it isn't anyone related to the Emperor and his group.

It could have been Gamon's dad himself, but that would mean he is alive.

Anyway Gamotan "dying" at an early point in time is probably the key that will save everyone in the end. If he returns back to his body, he might find himself at a point in time where the remaining 255 are still walking toward their deaths.

>So, any ideas about who actually "killed" Gamotan?
He died in the lake incident hence why his body was with all the others.

I'm kinda looking forward to what Ririka is up to. Since she hasn't really done anything in the series yet.

ass-onion

I don't think so. If things were so simple Asuna would have seen him walking to the lake like the rest.

Also he'd still have the key with himself if that was the case.

I think someone dropped his body to the lake after "killing" him.

>myu?!

So fucking cute`

I've given this a lot of thought now. Guys, I think Myu might be dumb.

Is it really right to say that Gamon is special when all that's special about him he got from his dad and from getting zapped on a daily basis?

He himself is special. The equipment that complement him are extra stuffs tacked on to make him even more special.

Cute and popular girls in highschool are always dumb.

I think that's an almost universal quality of teenagers in general, not just her.

...

Ryo-tas or Myu-pom? Which one is better?

Hardmode: You can't use Ryo-tas's ryotas as a reason.

Ryotas and Aveline make my dick ascend.

...

Right with her hair cut

Why is the fucking FBI job so much?

She got disarmed twice already

She wants Sarai's dick so not that dumb

Digital Ghosts > Analogue Ghosts

Jiiiii~

She's a little slow, but she's bright when she understands!

Not Gamotan's?

Jealous Zonko is best

It will slow down from Teekyuu pace after Devil-kun goes back in time.

Sarai is for ascending with Touko.

That depends, better for what? Ryo-tas is a better bro and companion, smarter and generally more competent and reliable, but Myu-pom is much better teasing and bullying material. I'd personally love to tie Miu-pom up and teach her a thing or two

This show got incredibly boring as soon as everything was explained. All the mindfuck pseudo science gimmicks aside, the story is incredibly typical. Even the whole izumin reveal wasn't that impressive

>Even the whole izumin reveal
That was particularly anticlimactic actually, and I think the conclusion might end up not being very thrilling either, but at least the mystery itself is coming together satisfyingly. It's a nice feeling when the speculation throughout the season actually pays off.

No kidding, the latest episode is even lifted straight from Chaos;Head.

I agree. The actual content that is being adapted is pretty much average light novel tripe. But I do think it stands out for how that content is being presented in the anime.

I haven't checked pixiv for her in a while, maybe I should take at least one more look before the last episode.

I had to drop this show. Those tits are just too big.

Hi Youtube

When was the focus of O;N the story instead of layers after layers of mysteries? And everything is not explained yet, there are still mysteries remain unless you browse these threads, which you do, in which all sort of speculations fly around and give you more information than you could've gained from 1 or 2 watch.
The Izumi revelation wasn't that impressive, I agree. But it wasn't bad either, it's serviceable and that's enough.

...

Best boy.

...

I don't know why but I'm obsessed with him.

OH BOI OH BOI OH BOI.
Gamotan is still stuck in March, right before midnight. He's having an OOB, that's why he can supercharge and has no prior memory of the accident.

This and Miyakoshi's pink stockings have shown me something I never knew I wanted.

wouldn't the stuff the demon dude does not happen because he goes back to his body?

Think gunbuster but instead of time slowing down it speeds up.

I don't know if i'm misinterpreting everything, Kiryu said that when he went back to his body after 5 days, only 5 minutes had happened, he still left his body and explored the world as a ghost and basically "saw the future" that means that 1 minute in the spirit world = 1 day in the real world, so far so good. Now this is my problem: Kiryu meets Ria as a ghost, that means that everything he does is happening in the future but then, when he returns to his body, wouldn't that mean that everything that he saw and did never happened? if there is no ghost in the future then the curses Ria does wouldn't exist, even if he was only out for a short amount of time the stuff he does as a ghost shouldn't happen after returning to his body. And this can still be applied to the main cast, if they destroy the antennas that would happen in the future so if they go back to their bodies they would have to do it again.

This is the problem with with time travel stories. Just assume that when he has an out-of-body experience he shifts timeline into a parallel world and then when he returns to his body he jumps timeline again.

Same thing as time leap machine.
Kiryu must reach the Steins Gate.

Except if he OOB'd after the incident.

Post yfw they are going to go back in time in the next episode

Kinoa's red ones are also delicious

...

I liked the ConRevo approach where actions overlapped in a single timeline instead of creating different ones. Basically it would mean the out-of-body Kiryu is there with Ria at the same time that the physical Kiryu is awake somewhere else after having already experienced what the oob Kiryu is experiencing. It would also mean it's possible to rewrite the future you experienced or foresaw.
What really bugs me is what happens if he goes into a 5 minutes/days OOBE and then into another one the day after? Wouldn't there be two ghost Kiryus around?

So, Supercharge = Real Boot?

>Gamotan's Di-Wings

Yeah, but this show does rushing well.

So because of the difference between actual and perceived time, the main characters are probably going to get their bodies back at the end. What about the ghosts who got dispelled? Are they still hanging around sans scandium like Aveline was, or are they permanently dead?

Chiyomaru had nothing to do with the writing in the Science Adventure series, right? The writing in Occultic;Notes is so bad. All the characters feel like they're just speakers for the author to showcase his writing through. None of them act like actual people. They just open their mouths and vomit out words.

I guess it really only was good for Ryouka's breasts in the end.

Well if they turned back time than everything will be diejobu and the 256 incident would never happen

He has a lot to do with Sci;ADV series writing, actually.
>none of them act like actual people
What constitutes to you as actual people then? If your only problem with them is they talk fast then don't even bother replying.

Calling out now.

Ryoka and Aveline consciousness are going to merge and become one. As a result of this and after the Odd Eye is destroyed, Ryoka will become the only link to the Spirit Realm.

In other words, as is stated in her character profile, a Psychic Medium.

And this is why I think there's a possibility that the other masked mad might actually be Gamotan Himself

Those who have played Braid are already familiar with this concept.

Fuck off.

...

Really makes you think.

Nah, man. That man is definitely his dad.

Indeed. There's no mistaking it that if they go back to their bodies they are going to have to redo all again, which is no different from going back to the starting point.

But if what Ryoka says is anything to go by, such scenario is not going to happen. The Odd Eye will be destroyed and all souls will vanish into the Spirit Realm.

Kind of bittersweet ending, I know, but if you consider certain things that happened before the incident, it might even be a downright happy ending.

>He has a lot to do with Sci;ADV series writing, actually.
Of course has to do with the writing if he's directing the games. But that's not the same thing as actually writing it completely.

>What constitutes to you as actual people then?
That they don't just act like speakers designed to splurge out exposition and move the plot forwards.

Ryotas acts like she's gotten her brain removed and just has a car battery attached to her muscles. Even if it's just an act it's retarded since the other people don't treat her like a complete loonie.

The reporter's personality is split half between her idiotic catchphrase and the fact that she's a reporter. The catchphrase is directly as if she was just ripped from a comedy sketch.

Ria is batshit to the point where she spends a year licking a fucking corpse and yet she seems to be completely mentally sane outside of that. Insanity to that point might be believable if it actually was a part of her personality, but it's just some backstory.

The otaku detective seems to be forming a Möbius strip from the fact how far up his own ass he is. No person in this reality could be so far up his ass in pretentiousness and have seventeen paragraph replies in each conversation if not for the fact that he's just a creation of a writer, sitting in front of his computer and revising the text until it sounds and flows as he wants to.

Then there's how the barkeep decided to start spouting off exposition for events prior to the series like he was contractually obligated. He's a part of the fucking Illuminati and yet when push comes to shove, he churns out exposition like butter.

The albino kid basically acts like a 20-something-year-old stuck inside a midget body. He's basically evil and twisted to a fucking ridiculous point and doesn't have a single childlike feature to him. Only reason why I know that he's a child is that he keeps reciting the line about being a minor.

I'm sure I've forgotten other issues I've had.

And here I thought we had filtered all the casuls.

He's right though.

No, he isn't. And we're getting tired of having to dealt with people who don't understand this show nor they even bother.

>Ria is batshit to the point where she spends a year licking a fucking corpse and yet she seems to be completely mentally sane outside of that. Insanity to that point might be believable if it actually was a part of her personality, but it's just some backstory.
>Insanity to that point might be believable if it actually was a part of her personality
What? Her insanity derives from her spoiled and obsessive personality. What do you picture an insane person ought to be like?

Ignore him man. He doesn't even realize this show has eccentric unrelatable characters. And this is one of the things that makes it so great.

>Her insanity derives from her spoiled and obsessive personality.
Did a therapist bang her personality out with a hammer? It's a non-issue after she gets separated from the corpse. Sure, she keeps talking to a ghost, but that's not even insanity, it's just occult.

>The albino kid basically acts like a 20-something-year-old stuck inside a midget body
Also this, what the fuck? He clearly a rich edgy kid who thinks he can get away with anything, he'd just be torturing cats or bums if he didn't get involved with the plot.

Why did you even bother replying? You have absolutely nothing to say.

Says the pot to the kettle.

But her insanity was very specific, she was just in denial about her brother's death and blocking any perception of it. Why would that affect her behavior or personality beyond that?

Because she is able to live a year comfortably in a psychosis. Schizophrenia isn't part of the five stages of grief. She clearly doesn't have all the lights on at home and you'd expect it to show.

And how exactly do you expect it would show? How do you think an actual crazy person would act?
