The movie is properly dame dame. It's just not as good as some of the best episodes from the first two seasons, but it's certainly good old dame dame Milkies.

The movie feels more like Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes.

The visual gags with deformed characters and frantic pacing are clearly closer to the first two seasons than TD.
That said, the movie does slow down for serious plot more often than the first two seasons.
It also doesn't have as many background gags and reference to other shows as s1 and s2, although there are many cameos from the Milky Holmes franchise itself.

The animation is trying very hard to be like the first 2 seasons but It just can't, the series no longer gets Random/surreal humor right...It tries to be too many things at once and it kinda sucks, Also some of these cameos are by characters I rather forgot.
