I think it has potential! Come on fellas what do ya think

What manga?

To you, The Immortal

Is this Koe no Katachi author? The art looks familiar.

Yes, seems like it.

Yes, it's her
I like it

Thanks, user. I enjoy it too now.

Thank me later.

alright

this got me a bit. didn't think i'd like the optimistic little brat

This is pretty good OP, thanks for showing it to me.

Pretty interesting

bodyguard-chan might be a backstabbing traitor but she's still best girl

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot this was weekly.

Wow that escalated quickly.

This is amazing, thank you.

Yeah, that was such a nice scene. She really built up everything nicely in 1st chapter so you could feel it better now.

Fuck you, OP. Now I have to antagonize over this great ass manga forever until it ends.

>let's just imprison a shapeshifting and immortal being
>what could go wrong?
She's not that smart

bear bear and the maiden fair

I want to obviously the boy is best girl.

Wow, I have no idea how that sentence happened. I meant to say that I want to find out more about this world already, and that the nameless boy was best girl.

Fuck you OP for giving me all those feels I didn't know I had.

Volume 1 Cover

how often are the updates?

I would also like to know this.

RIP nameless boy

Looks interesting but I need more data since so far it's barely out of the prologue.
Will keep an eye on it.

You need more data? That's an odd way of speaking.

Is it good?

Pretty good so far. Lets hope it doesn't turn shit like Fire Punch

notRussian werewolf travels south to notHokkaido and is adopted by a couple of notAinu girls and all of them are kidnapped by evil notYamato people.

just read it
it's not even past 10 chapters yet
form your own opinion

Woah what? Fire Punch is great, have you read it lately?

I pretty much agree with you, except for the werewolf part. We clearly see his origins.

The poison shouldn't have worked on him.

Kinda. Except historical Yamato certainly didn't consider Ainu holy. Also ethnic Russians didn't live in the Kurils/Kamchatka until recently.

I wonder who is "I".

It's not an alien, the hand is clearly human. Some god?

Just realized something. If the thing somehow gets out of there with the little girl still alive its going to be sad when it watchers her die of old age.

>tfw you know the boy is going to die in the first chapter
>cry like a bitch anyways
This always happens.

The paneling suggests the narrator creates the thing from its palm of its hand. This is classical mythological god behavior.

The thing won't stick around. The boy told him to experience all the world has to offer that he won't be able to experience.

You think the story's pacing will be that fast? I don't know, seems like to me the story will be much more spread out than that.

I'm not saying this will happen any time soon. The boy will have to learn many things before this happens like how to talk, live in society and explore its emotions. Something like this will happen eventually and I'm sure the manga will turn/ be over when it does.

I think he can still experience life while having someone he cares about near him.

The manga already has a very fast pacing.

Outside of the prologue, I don't really agree.

I get you.

The manga had fast pacing because very little has been done for how long of a time span it took, like wondering through a tundra hell hole for ??? years. The whole, it can be healed from anything after a few second, thing woulda got old after the first chapter if thats all he was doing. He was also too primitive to create any growth of character during this time so its best to have skipped it. However we're in a part of the manga where many things will happen in a short amount of time so the author can afford to slow the pacing down a bit.

well that was pretty interesting

Right? I've never really read a manga like this before I dont know how to describe it. Not that its a 10/10 manga (it is good) but its just different.

try Somali to Mori no Kami-sama

why not, it took the form of a living organism that can experience starvation and death. All its genes should function as such that poison can affect him just like any other, until it dies and remembers that it isn't a living entity to begin it

Oh shit, I completely forgot about it after the awesome first ch.

Man that one chapter hurt already

It's weekly but there is a break right now because of holidays.

New chapter?

That page is from Chapter 4
Chapter 6 is translated.

I see. I was way behind.

Damn, I kind of liked it, but i was really attached to the young man from the 1st chapter, his personality and struggle, now it's literally just his design, which after reading everything available, I can't say i like it or even care for it in anyway.

I'm sure interesting stuff my come up, but as of now it's such wasted potential.

The kid should have inhabited the body as well, that way the mc would have a bit more personality.

The art is amazing as usual, really like the detailed gore as well.

While though I'm biased i'm actually pretty happy it turned out this way. We can watch 'it' grow from something that wasn't even alive, or had personality, or even a design, to not someTHING but someONE with a personality.

Nameless boy at the beginning was what created the base for his personality, it's going to be a driving force in Fushi's story and i can't think of a better way it can be done~

I feel that if they kept nameless boy alive or had his memories fuse with Fushi, it'd be too much like a standard manga/anime and it'd really feel out of tune with how the series is.

So rather than having an established character we get to see him mold into a living being. I'm super looking forward to this

I kind of like the boy having no personality. Give so much freedom to show what an empty husk of a being can turn out to be and how it will react to new experiences.

The thing that annoys me is that they spent all that time building up nameless boy as a character, and made easy to sympathize with, it feels like such a waste to just let him go.

I'm totally fine with the idea of Fushi growing on his own, but I would have much rathered the kept the nameless boy and his struggle a part of the story, maybe make him like a split personality, or a dorment entitiy within fushi which may influence his decesions every now and then.

Like a less prominent version of Greed from FMA.

I just wanted him to finally meet others and shit, but on the other hand the fact that he is straight up dead, just shows the cruel reality of this world she built, which is great, but i'm still disappointed cause as of this point i don't have any kind of attachment to any of the characters on screen at all.

that's how good stories, and real life are. People's lives are dramatically cut short, and when they die there's nothing after that. That's what makes it good. It makes you feel

real life is not a good story

Good stories contain some elements of real life.

Good stories just needs to be believable. it doesn't need to resemble real life to be believable. It can be made up of characters devoid of human traits, acting illogically in human standard and still be believable given the setting it's based in, making it a good story.

Being realistic isn't inherently a positive for any creative medium meant to entertain, but i totally get what you're saying and this sense, seeing nameless boy die just makes me sad, but as a result I now have no reason to care about anyone or anything.

MC is immortal with no real explanation besides "just cause", they could have definitely gotten away with having nameless boy be somewhere within fushi, since it's his body and all, in fact i might not rule out that possibility just yet.

How often is this being released? It's pretty good so far

>wahhhhh story is not exactly set up exactly how i want it why is life so unfar !!!!!11

Just shut the fuck up and watch the story unfold. No use bitching about what ifs, maybes, or could haves. I bet you are one of those fags that didn't like how L O S T ended.

Enjoy the stories presented to you on their own merits, and if later on the manga turns out to be shit then by all means say how it was all set up wrong from the beginning. Complaining about it fucking 10 CHAPTERS in is fucking retarded desu SENPAI
