what does Sup Forums think of sakuga and how it has become mainstream? Nobody gave a shit 5 years ago except for a small circle (which now runs the "sakuga cartel") and now you see videos of it everywhere there are multiple blogs about it and there are more and more people discussing it.
do you care about animation? do you watch shows if certain animators work on it? do you have favorite animators? do you follow people who talk about this stuff on social media? do you use sakugabooru?
Yes, I appreciate animation. It's good to see the anime fandom gaining a greater appreciation for good animation, even if people tend to gravitate towards flashy stuff. There also seems to be less ignorance about the anime production process these days so you're less likely to see people cite a lack of budget any time there's an episode with off-model drawings.

>do you care about animation in a medium about animation?
Elijah Flores
I don't really care that much. As long as it look fine i'm down with it, the most important thing is writing(characters, story).
Of course it's true that it helps for battle shoneshit but it's quite irrelevant for other anime.
Christopher Anderson
Even if One Piece had the best animation in the world it would still be trash because it's just another battle manga.
Evan Davis
>sakuga Don't use words you're not familiar with you underaged shit.
Henry Roberts
The greatest meme since Hayao.
Thomas Carter
How the fuck do you find works of a certain animator? Other than happening to recognize their style by luck, or reading the credits of every show that airs it seems impossible if they don't have social media.
Bentley Anderson
hmmm...

Read the sakuga wiki

>but it's quite irrelevant for other anime Good animation can enhance anything.
It's good that more people are getting into it. Anyone who claims the opposite is dumb.
Most people do not care about what goes into the craft. That's like saying everyone who watches movies is into cinematography or writing.

The sakuga fandom certainly lacks female and queer representation though. Current discourse and analysis of animation is only seen through the straight male lens, it shouldn't be a boys-only club.
Jeremiah Russell
Did you just assume my gender? Fuck off, bigot.
William Brown
Maybe they should get better at drawing lmao. Dumb bitch
Jeremiah Jones
r/anime is the other way, nu-male kun
Camden Bailey
Wait, this is about equal representation in the fandom? Are those niggers serious? Do they want quota fans now?
Joseph Murphy
>straight male lens
I'm gay and I talk about sakuga. I nevr let that interfere with my vision of what sakuga is, and I don't see why anyone should care.
Liam Parker
>Caring about gender representation in a fucking fandom Should I militate for more straight men representation in the BL fandom?
