That's the thing though, all she really has to add to the group is her wealth. I like the Moogs but she has less character than the other girls.

Mugi's wealth let's her make full use of her enormous generosity. She put the Tea in Hokago Tea Time. It's also really heartwarming to see how genuinely happy she is to be friends with the other girls.

I think if wasn't for her we wouldn't feel so sad about graduation, I read once that azunyan is supposed to be who the viewer self-insert with.
So when the main 4 are going to college at the end of season 2 we share azunyan's feelings about the whole thing.

Because she's the reason they're a serious band. Before that it was entirely bullshit and Yui was slacking her way through everything. Her relationship with the rest of the band (especially Yui) inspires them to push themselves and become something incredible.

Each Keio brings something amazing to the band, but only together are they truly great. They're more than the sum of their parts, and without any of them the whole thing wouldn't be as good.

She kinda is. The whole "fun things are fun" line is the writers telling the audience that their friendship is the core dynamic of the show and that you should just enjoy it.

You're not wrong. Azusa is the whole catalyst for the ending scene in the clubroom. Her telling them not to graduate is what makes that scene so emotional for everyone. Plus she's the reason they made Tenshi ni Fureta.
