Out of everything that is strange about this case, and there is obviously a ton, one of the things I find the most suspicious is there has STILL been no CCTV images of paddock in the casino. Screen caps of Dylan Roof were released within hours. I know that there would be a lot of footage to pour over, but you would think that they would have found SOMETHING by now. The thing is you could release that and not change whatever official narrative you wanted without changing it unless there is something in the footage sineone doesnt want us to see.

Obviously he'd been coached, and it would be extremely difficult to talk about, but she practically tells his side of the story for him maps of the floor and everything. We'd know if they'd ever release information regarding the cameras that were set up, any hotel surveillance, or even updated us about what happened to the laptop hard drive. The scene/evidence has probably been tampered with or removed so as to create dead ends without the key pieces of information.

I think this. And the weirdness happens because everyone reacts to these events differently. They start projecting motives based on their own world views on who they don't like. Everything becomes muddled and conflicted.
Shooters just copy off shooters who've done it before. They think they're going out like those other guys did and they'll show those people. Then everyone projects their motives and when they can't make that work they drop it.
