All in all we've simply answered people that economics are secondary, they don't matter in such a way as to be a fundamental and defining element of Fascism. The answer didn't change, however there is now a way in which we can describe this attitude to economics, and it's actually a word we've used repeatedly in reference to Fascism anyway: Socialism.

That's exactly what all my friends and family members were saying to me years ago. Now they are either NS or think that ''it wasn't so bad'' or ''at least Hitler did something good by killing gypsies and commies''. Persistence and good argumentation are the key. That's why I've become a historian. After I finish my master and PhD hopefully I will become an Assistant Professor, and help spread the idea.

It is. When I was a teen I've always had problems with my father because of my NS orientation. Nowadays when he watches TV you can hear him saying ''Oh that fucking Jew'' or ''this guy (politician X) is probably a Jew''. And luckily my friends became either conservative nationalists or National Socialists. Plus Mein Kampf is the total bestseller in bookshops around my country.
