Manga-only character, like Rin and a good handful of others. The adaption basically covered all the early chapters, got to where Rin was introduced, cut out her and then started stealing chapters from later on and replacing the introduced characters with earlier ones to make a shorter more conclusive story for the adaption.

The manga is amazing, and really deserves to be read. The art is weirder but it grows on you quick and the facial expressions are worth it a hundredfold times more than the anime. If you liked the adaption, you'll like this even more.

Hey, the op was pretty good.

It's creative with it, main girl wins by chapter 80-something and it's great, but time travel was introduced around chapter 30 with Rin and there is huge confusion with the future and figuring out who ends up with who and what relationships lasts. It sounds weird and dumb, but trust me, it's actually done damn well and I suck at describing things.

I reckon it could be okay, the visuals will never match up to the manga but the cuteness makes up for it by appealing to a wider audience.

The plot was re-jigged from actual plots in the manga, they could more or less work in what was missed and introduce the other characters without much hassle.

Of course, season 2 never because poor sales/viewership. Dammit.
