Part 5 is a weak imitation of Part 3 with a somehow worse main character and antagonist. Giorno is barely even a character, more of a plot device, with powers that keep changing to fit the situation and no real clever usage of them. Diavolo is bland shit with a meme stand and an attempt to use schizophrenia as a replacement to personality.
The only thing done well in Part 5 is the setting and the main cast outside of the two mentioned above. Mista is best Brojo and Bruno is best mentor.

JoJo is not beloved because it has good writing, it is beloved and enjoyed because it is written differently from all other battle shounen, it is unconventional, unique and refreshing, from the art, the settings, the characters and the way the fights work it is all a breath of fresh air in a sea of generic shit, that is what makes it worth it despite how inconsistent it is with its writing. You don't see many battle shounen authors trying to deviate from the norm or having the balls Araki has to try new shit.
