Nursing is a much easier degree. With that being said, often if nurses have years of experience they will have much better practical skills and clinical knowledge than doctors. Don't underestimate experience over theoretical knowledge.
With that being said, a lot of nurses are catty, sarcastic, resentful and spiteful. Every difficulty I have had at work has been with nurses, who are determined to undermine you, gossip about you or somehow find drama wherever it may lie.
I have learned to keep my mouth shut, do what I am required to do and never let my guard down. Sad times as it means I am constantly putting up a fascade at work, which is tiring.

Vets, nurses, and paramedical professionals have complexes regarding doctors, especially those that desire recognition from patients. GED high school drop out goes gets a Diploma from an accredited nursing program. And states "I'm better than a Doctor."
What a better Nurse need to become a nurse:

The reason why nurses are required to get degrees and why nearly every University has very high requirement standards to get into the Nursing degree is because women are massively going into that career.
It is “simple and easy” they thought.
The career and major is massively women dominated and hence they increase the supply of nursing workers so the requirements go up and it is very difficult to find work as a nurse.

If they actually rivaled a doctor's knowledge, they could go the route necessary to become a Nurse Practitioner and be paid nearly as much as a doctor (and probably wind up ahead, as they were literally paid to learn, instead of sacrificing close to a decade of their lives paying for education, and then working for a waiter's wages while they go through internship and residency.
It's said pretty often by nurses who think that they should be able to prescribe medicine. "Oh, they're in pain, I should be able to give them X medication." And some of them actually DO know their stuff, and having to wait for a doctor just makes the patient have to wait longer for the same course of treatment. But, see, if you fuck up, then the patient is gonna sue you. Doctors have malpractice insurance. Basic bitch nurses (NOT Nurse Practitioners) do not, meaning if they fuck up, the hospital can wind up fucked financially.
Nurses are just jealous and insecure. Doctors are much smarter and have taken more difficult courses(and far more of them). Trust me, I have both in my family.
