Sailor Moon SuperS

Why were they so perfect?

PallaPalla > the rest

...

JunJun >>>>>>>>>>>> the rest

Fish was best.

>That episode where he made Tiger and Hawk into traps for about 30 seconds
>That fairy episode
>That episode where his target was a shota
>That episode where he tries to NTR Mamoru
The best part is that he acts just like a female and only one person knew that he was male.

Did no one like SuperS or did I make the thread too late?

Are they going to Crystalize this show too?

VesVes>>>JunJun=PallaPalla>>>>shit>>>>>>>CereCere

Crystal Dream Arc WHEN?

PallaPalla actually did her job and she had a hidden bloodlust

best girl

>Did no one like SuperS

I have no idea why it isn't more liked. It does so much shit I'd wished had been followed up on earlier and is the closest season in spirit to the first in the way it explores the lives of its characters. Even now the number of people who actively say they like it is tiny compared to the people who vocally hate it.

>Read in wiki about Luna
>She gets a human form
>Get excited
>In the anime too
>Get really excited
>Only once in a movie for only about 5 minutes
>Get disappointed beyond belief
I hope crystal doesn't fuck this up.

Shit tastes, that's it. Love SuperS and I never got the hate. You can see how Ikuhara matured as a director and he was more comfortable with the position, despite Toei's many fuck ups. Arguably it's the most Ikuhara-ish season considering he put his buttbuddy Enokido to be in charge of the series composition and Ikuhara wasn't a newfag anymore.

Ironically the season Japan seems to hate is Stars despite the international fandom seems to really like it. Japan ignore it until the 20th anniversary when finally the Starlights got new merchandise

All I want is to see Minako's face when she learns that the talking cat that has been sleeping in her bed and been there when she undresses actually looks like this.

Chibiusa took far too much of the spotlight, so the other girls had far too little. It felt more like the Usagi & Chibiusa Show more than anything.

At least by that point Chibi-Usa was actually endearing.

That's true. I just prefered the balance they had in Super the most.

SuperS is definitely the best, but I didn't like Stars. I remember quite a few episodes looking really poorly produced, and I didn't think the Starlights were very compelling for all the focus they got. It's not all bad, but definitely my least favorite season.

It's ironic the fans complain so much about SuperS being the Usagi and Chibiusa show when Stars felt like the Usagi and the Starlights show, even the girls's episodes were more about the fucking Starlights because Toei wanted to make another Outers.

Stars looks poorly produced because Ikuhara and his A-team left the show after SuperS so basically Stars was made by the B-team

My biggest issue with it is that it focused on Chibi-usa too much, to the point where Sailor Moon can't even do her sure kill without her around. Also the fact that they wrote out the outers completely, Saturn especially.

If they were perfect, they would have a decent amount of porn.

Manga purists are the reason.

You'd think Stars would get a lot more hate because of its departure from the manga, too, but remember that most North Americans aside from some of those who watch fansubs have never seen Stars.

>Chibiusa took far too much of the spotlight, so the other girls had far too little

That really isn't true though. Chibiusa gets tons of focus, but given that she's no longer a little bitch who's dependent on everyone else I have no issue with her double billing with her mother, which was actually kind of refreshing. The other inners actually get far more focus here than they do in most of the other seasons, which I actively consider a plus point.

I agree that SuperS is better than Stars. Stars was far too thinly drawn out with Seiya being the only compelling new character. Barely anything actually happened over the course of the season, so despite having more plot continuity than SuperS it doesn't amount to much more substance.

I don't understand what people would expect them to have done with the outers. Half the point is that the end of S had a tragic fallout that forced them to sacrifice their lives in different ways, so it's fitting for them to be gone, as opposed to having them return just to be dicks in Stars for little reason. If anything, all the bullshit returning in Stars only takes away from the magnitude of the events.
