The anime production was really, really good. The director knew how to use all kinds of tricks to make it look exciting on a low budget (watch how much the camera shakes when they're arguing in the second episode) and the story was completely revamped. I guess a bunch of the episode directors were long-time industry veterans as well.

It's such a shame the dude hasn't had a project since Kamisama ga Inai Nichiyoubi.

I'd have to say Nobuna kept its momentum right up till the end, with quite a bit of stumbling around boobs elephant chick I'll admit, but the focus on Monkey and Nobuna's drama was really well-done. Cheesy melodrama, dreams of wedding dresses, snipers failing because of a treasured item from the loved one, using BS magic to try to wake someone from a dream coma, it's all classic soap opera stuff, which worked great with the pacing here. Can't say much about the LNs because I didn't make it very far because they're pretty bad.

And I can't say much about KgIN because I didn't make it very far. because it's pretty boring.

No-no, i agree with you about Nobuna. I remember that only last two-or-something episodes were terrible, with a sudden one-dimensional villain, asspulls to music and overall fucked up atmosphere. Don't remember any details, though.
