UKIP are pretty much dead at this point... Most normal people see them as a spent force because they were originally a single-issue party and they achieved what they set out to achieve (we're leaving the EU). UKIP are also trapped between a rock and a hard place at the moment. They're haemorrhaging voters because of the referendum success, but they can't rebrand because the Remainers will see it as a victory and use it as ammunition to keep us in the EU. They're stuck in a kind of passive watchdog state for the foreseeable future.
The Tories are (at best) centre-left these days. There's clearly a very strong appetite for a real right wing conservative party in this country - the Tories are only doing remotely well because they're the only "real" ("electable", "sane") alternative to the current European left wing nightmare. But for some reason or another, no proper alternative party has risen up - we're stuck with these shitty disorganised unprofessional clown groups like Britain First.
I reckon we'll see Aaron Banks and Farage come roaring back after we've finally officially left the EU.

Think trumps retweets have raised the fact that lefties would rather attack him than admitting the truth that Islam is a hateful and violent ideology because it does suit their strict narrative
he is just exposing to anybody with an once of common sense that the left are truly past reason and full of insanity and hate
Robert Bennett
Because he's a hard-left Socialist and most British socialist/communist organisations (CPB, CPGB-ML, NCP) backed a leave vote. The EU is incompatible with the hard-left Socialism he believes in.
>I reckon we'll see Aaron Banks and Farage come roaring back after we've finally officially left the EU.

trying to take a wide-neutral perspective here
Trump and his tweeting is a new era for politics Unlike anything been done before His retweeting of Britain First gives them international visibility (Trump knows about BF and Tommy Robinson, allies of Infowars) It's probably bad for debate to take extreme individual examples of something (eg. one muslim beats up a cripple) When you are trying to make a wider argument
Trump hasn't been clear on his wider view of Islam, or the current political debate. I tend to think he's very open minded etc. and is rather trying to highlight the Kalergi angle.
What it does most is inflame both sides the left and right, under the debate of islamophobia it's probably an unhealthy development for debate but it's very interesting.
New era.
please give PROOF for your >Russia did brexit >Russia influenced uk politics >Russian shill narrative
It's, like trump's interjection, a dangerous railroading of the political narrative to conflate Russia as muh boogeyman just because it suits your shallow argument.

The funny thing is, Trump's problem is incompetency and lack of understanding, right? That would be a perfectly reasonable ground upon which to oppose him. However, what the Left does instead is brand him as a racist, islamophobe etc. and it works against them. They shoot themselves in the foot to a remarkable extent. Also these people aren't historically what we can call 'the Left', they're mostly riled up students, university workers and young people in general who just want a fight. They don't know how to tactically oppose people they don't like, they just get mad and make no rational arguments. For this reason I hope Donald DOES stay in power tbqh, to teach those mongs a lesson. Besides, a nation SHOULD look out for the interests of its own people first, and they don't even have it that bad, at least not as a direct result OF trump. So fuck em
Ethan Myers

in response to your quads, fucking czech't I only get razzed into these debates because I see so few people making a decent rational case for Brexit. also so many remoaners get to take the lead and say unfounded comments like "it is partly elected" as if they are reinforcing THEIR idea that Brexiters are uninformed
they do seem unable to step outside of their frames of reference, which makes them something like fish in a barrel when it comes to debate.
anyway, I'm up for burning this guy more but he seems to have shut it down after I highighted his preponderance for using the lazy Russia accusation. I'm assuming he's a shill in max damage control, he'll be back. It just looks bad on his ticket if he actually harms the EU by debating us.
but yeah, my message to Brexit voters don't be scared or cowed by virtue signalling fags. you are in the right, make your arguments, and make them well. doing this will eventually benefit the UK. robust political discourse is healthy.
pic related, not only true of america

It's symbolic. I think the primary reason the type of people who lurk in brit/pol/ support the monarchy is because it is a symbol of cultural heritage. It's not exactly a secret that parliament have been running the show for 400 years and the "Queen" is a glorified document signer. If the cultural heritage thing is ruined, which now it looks as though it is, there's 0 reason to support the monarchy. They do nothing else at all.
The only counter argument to this is a list of powers that supposedly the Queen can exercise but in reality never has or never will.
Julian Garcia
>I'm sure the vast majority of people wouldn't have any issue with Trump visiting the UK Wrong. If Trump visited then anifta will destroy shit and beat people. Your police is a joke and won't do shit to stop them (most likely they will join them), so it's better and safer for Trump not to go. Source: see Germany during Trump's visit.
