Anime is the superior medium to manga. Prove me wrong.
Actually, you can't.
Anime: Voice acted and has sound effects
Manga: dude black and white lines lmao

Why does Anzu smoke?
because she's mature
Did anyone ever say otherwise? The only time manga is superior is if the anime is made poorly or if you want to speed through a story.
manga is only for high intelligency guy who can imagine something easily
anime help someone with low intelleigence to imagine something
Nice thread
>implying
Not really. Manga will always have the better art.
the best anime can offer > the best manga can offer
also manga release schedules are retarded
If I cared about art Id get into paintings
Nice subjective opinion
Manga art is going to be far more detailed than anime art. That's not subjective, and is something you need to factor in when choosing between the manga of something like Berserk and the anime which removes most of those details. All in all, the existence of this thread just makes it apparent that OP doesn't understand that the reason there are multiple mediums in the first place is because they excel at different things; it's like saying that a socket wrench is "superior" to a screw driver.
BLAME!'s manga is much better than the OVA's that only make sense after you read the manga.
I care about story not art If I cared about art Id be into potography
Anime has even more middlemen than manga (director, animators, VAs, in-betweeners, etc. vs. author, artist, assistants).
If you don't care about art then just read literature. Artistic quality is one half of manga and is what makes anime anime.
Anime killed the manga star.
>Too much different thought from different people for just to get the job done.
That's why anime is worst than the manga.
Manga pro:
>more detailed and usually better art
>can be consumed at one's own pace
>usually runs longer than anime
>better ability to tell a story
Anime pro:
>animation
>voice acting
>volors
>music
>sound effects
>better ability to create emotional impact
>Manga pro:
>>more detailed and usually better art
Purely subjective.
>>can be consumed at one's own pace
Fallacious, both can be consumed at a pace of one's choosing
>>usually runs longer than anime
Fair.
>>better ability to tell a story
Purely subjective.
I try to read manga sometimes but I think I'm just an idiot. If the manga has big fights with debris flying everywhere and all that, I can't even work out what the hell I'm looking at half of the time.
If I only cared about the story, then I'd be browsing
I prefer anime but It really doesn't matter, People enjoy different things.
I do think that VA's and OST make a huge deal though for certain scenes.

Kill yourself please.

"better" is subjective, but "more detailed" is not.
>>can be consumed at one's own pace
>Fallacious, both can be consumed at a pace of one's choosing
Well fine, you can slow down or speed up anime with video players.
>>better ability to tell a story
>Purely subjective.
Maybe. I think manga is better suited to keep track of complex intertwining storylines, but yeah, it's subjective.
Manga has loli sexualization.
QED
Get laid
Welp this thread has reached the "greentext three words at a time and completely deconstruct them" stage. GG.
Movie animes are usually better since they have the budget to make beatiful backrounds, have better animation and audio.
Some weekly tv animes are just so poor quality with the amount of still images where characters just waste time talking that then mangas are clearly better.
...
Yeah, I'm the same. I only read non-action filled manga because it can just get too chaotic.
Heh, that happens to be one of the oldest images on my computer.
>>/lit/
>Having more attributes means something is better
So by your logic 3D is superior to anime, because you can also touch and smell it?
>tfw you've seen every good anime so you have no choice but to work on your manga backlog
The real best is reading manga and watching anime for the good scenes. They're bound to be on youtube so save yourself hours upon hours of time just reading instead of watching.
having more potential != superiority
the amount of labor to make a 5/10 anime can be used to make multiple 10/10 manga and a 10/10 anime is maybe comparable to an 11/10 manga at most.
>wow, anime who have hundreds of people working on it releases more consistently than one person who draws by himself
Manga art > Anime art
Manga Story > Anime Story
They have assistants.
Agreed thays why manga sucks and no one takes comic seriously. They are books for idiots
No, my opinions > your opinions
Not everyone uses an assistant, and even if they did, it rarely goes over 6 people.
But you'll only be able to experience the full story by reading the manga.
