New chapter of Rokudenashi Blues has been scanlated, hopefully the guy doing it hopes to carry on past the Onizuka arc.
Delinquentanon scans have slowed down (as he said they would on his blog) so we are all patiently awaiting the conclusion of Bakuon Rettou and by extension waiting for Bad Boys and Bucchigiri but I seem to be the only person who reads those two.
Vendetta scans seen to have stalled on Clover, still 12 or something volumes of that left, although the fact we have 31 volumes of it is impressive on its own.
And Hokuto no Gun is continuing to regularly put out new Karate Osu Bu, Akatsuki Otokojuku and the GOAT delinquent manga, Be-Bop High School, which I'm going to story time a couple of chapters of.

When I read this chapter of Be-Bop High School I realised it is probably the best delinquent manga ever. I used to call Rokudenashi Blues my favourite because I really liked the art and fights, but you can tell it has the pacing of a popular WSJ since we're 16 volumes in and not at the real meat of the story.
I think that now I have thought about it more, my top 5 series in order would be: Be-Bop High School Crows Bakuon Rettou Rokudenashi Blues Kyou Kara Ore Wa (Hot Road would probably be next)
But seriously, this chapter sums up yankii manga perfectly for me.

I made a thread for the RB and Be-Bop releases earlier this month but I'm glad someone else remembers. I started reading A-bout after I caught up with Bakuon Rettou and I have to say it feels like a much better version of Worst or Crows.

The reason why BBH is the best is that if this was Mitsuhashi/Itou, Onizuka/Ryuji, Josuke/Okuyasu, Hayato/Kenji, Maeda and his gang, Bouya/Hana and his gang etc. they would have won, and probably against much greater numbers.
Whereas Toru and Hiroshi just got their fucking arses handed to them and they have still shat up those guys enough that they won't fuck around with them in the future. And this happens all the time with them as well.

Another chapter from BBH where a similar thing happened.
I used to think the same thing when I read A-Bout!, and I definitely think it's better than Worst but I'm not certain that it's better than Crows. For some reason I've ended up re-reading Crows multiple times and it's really grown on me, I can see why it was so hugely popular.

the yakuza type of tattooing is usually called japanese traditional, or irezumi, or horimono I'm getting a koi with a red peonie with leaves diagonally above and below, or a hannya, I'm leaving my arms bare till I can travel to one of my favorite irezumi tattooists in the world and have him do my 3/4 sleeves of a dragonkoi with peonies and Kiku's, and a fudomyoo on my back

I'm really far behind on many of these every since I caught up to them so I'm just letting them sink and picking them up in the future.
Another good piece of news is that Saru Lock got a new chapter releases today after 200 something days, it's from an unknown group so who knows if it will continue but it's still pretty exciting. Saru Lock isn't very popular or even known but I gotta say it's really funny, one of the funniest and it's pretty interesting because the delinquents take place on a modern urban setting so it can be refreshing.

Its much more grounded in reality which is nice.
I've also thought about getting one of these Yakuza type tattoos. I like the one you posted that doesn't cover the whole pectorals nor the nipple. I'm not sure I would like for it to go all the way down to my fore arm. It looks cool but I'm thinking maybe only up to the middle of the bicep, unsure if that would look weird.
Some allow tattoos, and if you're a foreigner they'd likely give you a free pass on that sort of stuff. I'd only be worried about actual Yakuza seeing the tattoos and thinking bad of that.
