This event isn't big enough for it to remain in mainstream focus very long, not long enough for there to be any major effect of discrediting the media at this point. Anyway, you can't tell from the video because the quality is too low and some native Dutch have features as dark as the person in the video. However, if you must, the location of the attack and the town where the attacker is from are both known, and are tiny towns, so it might not be that hard to track him down on social media.
