Is it delusion or maximum autism that makes some tards think manga/anime can be educational?

Now don't get me wrong, I love Animu and Mangos but I believe they're simply an entertainment medium. I fail to see any example which can accurately reflect what some weeaboos claim which is that reading/watching some these cartoons made them learn something.

>This manga taught me about being a bartender!
>This anime taught me how to cook

Really nigger? Really?

Can anyone prove me wrong?

Fuck off retard

Is it delusion or maximum autism that makes some tards think images/pictures can be educational?

Nice stealth rec thread, faggot.

Anyone could write up a recipe. You actually tried making it? Fucking low IQ philistine.

You'd be exactly right.

So I'm assuming its autismo serum that makes weeaboos think like this.

>boohoo stop disliking what I like

LOTGH made me question democracy for the first time. Always been a skepticfag but never once had i questioned it so i guess it taught me that there are always biases we are unaware of in our minds.
Like me assuming you are a tremendous faggot.

>watching kiddie cartoons for you to question democracy

It's almost as if your parents didn't do their job in your upbringing

>Is it delusion or maximum autism that makes some tards think manga/anime can be educational?

Just how you can film something with educational value, you could draw it. So yes, anime and manga can be educational, it's just that it's hard to find an example of something that actually was made with that purpose in mind.

Let me provide an olive branch here. Take gaming for example.

There are without a doubt games which are purely for entertainment and there are also games which are made solely for educational purposes (shitty games made for 3 year olds come to mind). However, there are games which bridge that gap.

Games such as Minecraft, Civilization, Kerbal Space Program etc. Albeit a small quantity, these games make that perfect bridge.

In manga there is already very little manga which are solely educational, let alone cover both entertainment AND education. Some of them dabble here and there, but it's the equivalent of claiming that cooking mama taught you how to cook.

Quality thread right here boys.

Anime taught me about (or got me into) the following:

>Mahjong
>Yosakoi
>Lovecraft
>Sengoku Jidai
>Warships and general WWII
>Pachinko
>Chinchirorin
>Actual japanese literature
>Sweets
>Art trivia
>Classical music
>Rakugo
>Physics

>b8
Still, I'll take this opportunity and mention the Once upon a time... Man/Life/America etc. shows.

Is there an anime manga that teaches how not to shitpost?

They educate you on the Japanese language quite a bit if you already have a decent handle on the grammar and you are adding all the new words you don't know to anki. Of course someone as simple-minded as you wouldn't understand the value of cultural and linguistic knowledge anyway.

Did you know, manga is just a combination of pictures and words? You really have to have an IQ of 25 or less to think you can't teach people anything with words.

There,I took the bait, now stop fucking bumping this shit thread, retards

Here's a very educational manga.

This

Is it possible to get a fetish from watching anime?

yes

I learnt english from watching Moetan

>>Mahjong

Physics ?

useless fantasy, character design and world building.

I don't know, it seems pretty bad somehow.

>I only know about shonenshit and SAO and only ever came to Sup Forums once:the post

Let's hop on over to your thread then. Oh wait.

Sounds like anime is only acting as a medium to pique interest in Japanese culture. I could achieve the same result by telling stories of grandeur about dragons and the vikings.

>can't provide any examples
>durr once upon a time....

I dunno. Do you have self-esteem issues?

>teaches you Japanese language a bit
>translator note: "baka" means stupid

You pick up words here and there sure, but it's not educational. I could watch a Russian porno and pick up words from it. Of course someone as simple-minded as you wouldn't understand the value of cultural and linguistic knowledge anyway.

Provide one example then. That's all I'm asking.

No wonder you're a raging queer.

ONCE AGAIN. I am not attacking anime/manga as entertainment, but it seems silly (and now that I've seen some of your shitty posts) downright retarded to defend it and go

>hurr it's more than just entertainment, it's also educational!

You fucking basement dwellers can't even name ONE educational manga.

Stop grasping at straws and just admit that its pure entertainment.

ITT: Nobody knows how to sage

Not even you apparently.

Who are you quoting?

...

Who are you quoting?

Euler's analytical proof for infinite primes

>fiction = entertainment
When did this become a meme? Picture unrelated.

kuso thread award

Ironic shitposting is still shitposting

Since you seem a bit limited in your reasoning, I'l give it to you simply: anime is a medium and you can convey whatever message you want by it.
A book can be educational or not, a film can be aducational or not, a game can be educational or not, an anime can be educational or not.
It's incredibly retarded to claim that a medium as a whole can't convey a certain type of message.
But more importantly, what is "educatonal" to you?

Also dubs.

>Is it delusion or maximum autism that makes some tards think manga/anime can be educational?

Yes. They've grown accustomed to their safe space and ignore (or even forget) anything they learned outside from chinese shit because they fail at being social and blame the whole world being shit because they're so incompetent. It's their ultimate way to escapism but they just can't admit any of that. It's not you, it's them.
