Are the people posting about how this is AOTY and KyoAni's magnum opus just trolling? I mean, I enjoyed this series, and I'll watch anything with a KyoAni label on it, but I would be hard-pressed to even put this series in a "Top 3" list, never mind greatest of all.

Phantom was decent for being a Battle Harem LN adaptation. Hyouka was actually an AOTY. You're also forgetting Amaburi and Chuunibyou, both of which were more engaging than boring high school brass band drama.

It had a breety good OST though, and for someone whos really into that sort of thing its a big up.

Some people learn faster than others, but yeah. It takes a while to get any good at it. Eventually though, you'll actually start to sound good and you'll be happy to have picked up the instrument in the first place. If you don't try, maybe you'll really regret it 10 years from now.

At the very least you could rent a instrument and take some lessons. If it doesn't end up working out you can at least not regret never trying in the long run.

No it fucking wasn't, that's why they fixed it in the second season. K-On S1 was made while Disappearance was the studio's focus and it and Haruhi S2 suffered for it.

I was actually thinking the same thing earlier. KyoAni are the masters. I want them to make every show that comes out.

It's the only 10/10 I've seen this year, and the only 10/10 Kyoani (Haruhi is 9/10, Nichijou is 8/10, and everything else is 6/10 or lower).

I mostly just loved S1 because I was really into Kumirei, but I found S2 to be extremely emotional. Just really powerful drama that was executed beautifully. I was literally shaking, heart pounding and on the verge of tears in almost every episode.
