Why they keep doing it?
But Coalgirls are dead
>daiz never finished this
They could do a remux with that filesize, why re-encode
Why the fuck is the filesize increased tenfold
Can someone explain this to me?
>10bit
The meme that will never die.
just bloat up my shit senpai
10bit does give more quality for the same filesize though, due to how mpeg 4 works.
There's just no point re-encoding a BD to 10bit when a remux would be no bigger
What site is that?
Animebytes, a private tracker.
If the archive wasn't missing a few years still, I'm almost certain he posted that he was dropping it and to give up waiting.

Much higher bitrate and encoding settings, preserving the bluray quality almost 1:1.
If anything, the other groups make their encodes too fucking blurry for my 48" 4K screen. Get out, poorfags. Ree.
If you're upscaling anime to 4k of course it won't look very sharp. Most anime isn't even native 1080p, just upscaled 720p..
What site is this??

Who said anything about upscaling? Unless you meant the screen's internal upscaling algorithms, they work well enough that 1080p content looks about as nice as it can get.

That's a bit smaller than my mobile anime fileserver, physically. I suspect it has only a fraction of the data capacity though, seeing as it's in a ghetto wooden box.
First week on Sup Forums?
kinda weird that there is no freelech this holiday on animebytes or did i just missed it.
What's even the point when all 1080 encodes and DVD/BD images are FL anyway
What's even the point when AB is trivially easy to build a buffer that it doesn't matter anyways?

I was going to post that but there's always people who struggle no matter how easy the tracker is, then it just devolves into >pay2pirate etc
