So Brittania, what's your favorite route? In my case I'm between Aki and Teruma. Bushou is meh, and the last fourth route is weird and sometimes not really interesting.

He does, in Bushou route. The scene comes out of nowhere, and you're even making a bad choice at this point since you end the route prematurely. There's even one with Benkei in that route.

Aki's easily, Thelma's was lacking in the romance department but was enjoyable nonetheless. I enjoyed Bushou for what it was but it kind of came off as Takahiro rewriting Bushou's personality, barely had any Rinchu either and those two scenes came out of nowhere. The final route comes out of nowhere and I honestly wondered if Takahiro was high when he wrote it, I'll admit I had a few laughs but that's mostly due to Haou being Haou than the route itself. That final route came off as Takahiro writing attempting to write a final route for Majikoi but gave up 5 minutes in. I must admit it was nice to see a route where most of the heroines (even the route exclusive ones) showed up

Yeah, but I wanted some indication as to how it happened. Heck, Lee seems to know Yamato a lot and in that pool scene he even declares herself as her mother, but without any context and taking into account that he hasn't joined the Kuki I don't even know how they got close.

Well, this is a good opportunity to post the summaries of the three routes. Last one tomorrow, since there's a bit of stuff to comment.

Let's start with a quick but not bad one. Teruma route comes from Margrit After, and clearly shows that the harem route is the official one. Its events happen after Yamato graduates but before he officially joins the Hound unit, since he's not strong enough yet.Yamato is currently training in the Kawakami temple (he even has a duel with Kazuko, in which he loses completely). Half a year has passed without seeing the Hound Unit. Margit decides to pay him a visit after that half a year, with the Hound Unit visiting the next day to give some private time to the two. Yamato still communicates with them with the phone, and in those moments it's shown that Teruma is the one who's fallen the hardest for Yamato.Let me just start by saying that Teruma is a really cute girl in this route. There's still interaction with all Hound members, but the main character here is Teruma. Her route is about helping her get over her androphobia (she attacks any men that touches her when not in her armor), plus the interactions between her and Yamato. She only gets one scene though, Sigrin getting another one.And that's pretty much it, it's a quick and simple route, but one that really helps you like Teruma. It does its job fairly well. Next is Aki！

I wouldn't put much thought into it, Takahiro clearly didn't.

Second part of the summaries I wrote in the previously dead Sup Forums Maji Friday thread.

Aki's route is hilarious, at least for me. It's a bit slow in starting up. It's inmediately after her ending. In case you didn't know, Aki is a pervert, and this whole route shows that. Her route is basically just showing their relationship. Yamato assists her with her student council job at times, but the majority of the route is them fooling around. There's a bit of cooking competition between Yoshitsune and Aki in which Aki wins by doing erotic food hahaha.

But the best moment in that route is easily the one with the vibrator. Aki gives Yamato a remote of a vibrator, and tells him that she's going to be wearing it the next day, so he should feel free to use it wherever he wants. And oh boy the amount of times you can use it. In the middle of eating with her father, during class, during a speech, etc. And she actually is happy that you use it (she even gives you a thumbs up hahaha). Easily the best part of the route.

Apart from this, it's pretty much another quick and simple route. There's a moment in the route that if you make the right choice you get a CG of Yamato groping Shibunkyou's breasts, but that's pretty much all what you'll get with her. It's a nice CG in which we get to see Shibunkyou blushing for the first time.

So yeah, IMO Aki has the best route, as simple as Teruma's route, but I laughed in this one too. Minato Soft sure knows how to do clones.

Hegemon>Monshiro>Aiess. It's gonna be a long wait for A-3 for the other maids, and then a longest wait for A-5 and my delicious Margit

And now Bushou route... Bushou route. Okay, let's describe it with one word, with capital letters. B O R I N G.

Bushou route starts after the Ryozanpaku ending (the one in which Yamato bangs Kosonshou and Bushou). It's a route that mainly consists on Bushou wanting to test how much it affects her flame ability when she does things with Yamato (specially after sex).

Unfortunately, Bushou route has some problems. First, there's barely any romantic stuff between Yamato and Bushou, compared to the other routes. Or at least it felt less about it. The second thing is that Bushou loses a lot of charm in this route. I really liked her puppy like personality when feeding her, but that's something that is not really seen much in this route. I couldn't feel that charm in here, and I'm not sure if it's because of the voice acting or the bad writing. It's a bit of a pity too that there's barely any stuff related to the Ryozanpaku in her. There's some bit with Kosonshou there too, and in fact it's my favourite part of that route, even though there's really no CG nor H-scene there.

But what's lacking in H-scenes with the Ryozanpaku, for some stupid reason other characters get them. This is the route you'll use to access both Torako and Benkei H-scene, and the reason for that is so stupid that I have no words to describe it. And if you get them, the route ends prematurely, which in this case it's not really a bad thing.

So yeah, just like Rinchuu's route, Bushou's route is meh. Really disappointing, the Ryozanpaku setting has a lot of potential, but it seems whoever writes about them is unable to do a proper job at making them good. What a pity, seriously.

There's another route about the last days before all third years graduate (Momoyo, Tsubame, etc). I was writing it in Sup Forums but the thread got killed before I got the chance to post it, and that really killed my motivation to write it. So you'll have to wait a day to know what it is about.

Nope, I wish It was released with the torrent as I love Shade's works.

Yeah, I love it too. I'm a person that barely notices music in games unless they're good, and frankly, the Majikoi series has sported really nice soundtracks. The Cookie battle theme in A2 is a good example, that music appearing in that robot battle was amazing.

Anyway, here's my thoughs about the whole Majikoi A series. Final thoughts:

- Majikoi A1: Good. Benkei best girl in this route, I liked Azumi's route even if lacking romance, and Sayaka was okay, though I didn't like using a cliche like lying about being in a relationship.

- Majikoi A2: Good. Seiso undeniable best girl, Monshirou was surprisingly good and Aiess was okay, but I wonder why we needed a robot route.

- Majikoi A3: Okay. Lee is the best character out of the three there, but Stacy got the best story (and we also got Sheila). Tsubame was terrible, the result of instead of picking one route, making two and put half and half effort in each of them.

- Majikoi A4: Bad. Rinchuu's route was wasted potential, and Homura's route was nothing worth commenting. If they still went for individual games I wouldn't recommend this one (though it got a sweet soundtrack).

- Majikoi A5: Good. Margit redeems herself in this route, I personally liked Yoshitsune even though I know others didn't, and I didn't like Takae because I found the whole luck thing to be rather annoying honestly (at least I'm glad they separated from the horrible anime).

- Majikoi AP: Aki is the best route, Teruma is also good IMO. Bushou is meh and the fourth route is bizarre and makes you wonder why it's even here.

These threads are literally almost entirely VN discussion. Look at this thread and tell me with a straight face this is Sup Forums-related and not pure /jp/. An anime from years back does not forever qualify you guys to just talk about something entirely off-topic for Sup Forums for the rest of time; it's the same principle by which kancolle and monmusu threads frequently get trashed - nothing Sup Forums-related going on there.

Bam, the most accurate review you'll ever see in the Internet about that piece of crap. I'm still hoping they redeem themselves in the future. Heck, they could have done something similar to Amagami SS, in which they split each girl's route in 4 episodes and tried to cover the most important parts to make a good experience (and then released an extra season to complement it).
