Anime is better than manga/novel/original work

>anime is better than manga/novel/original work
Whats her name?

...

JoJo easily

Is this a JoJo reference?

Most LN adaptations. LN is such a shitty fucking media for anything. Even VN's are better.

what the actual fuck stop posting while your drunk you stupid idiot

I know her name but I won't tell you.

>reading novels that's been translated

There's your problem. Out of anime/manga/LNs/VNs LNs suffer the most from loss in translation.

That doesn't make the media good even when untranslated.

The only reason you'd think that is if you don't like reading books. A lot people prefer to read the books instead of watching someone else's interpretation of it.

Part 2 of Jojo's Bizare Adventure, and select episodes of the other animated parts.

they're not books, they're just soft porn with lots of text

plebs

Golden candidate in this category.

Which is shit. Exactly.

>Young Adult tier fiction written by poorly educated authors for the masses (of students and other young people)
>common tags: supernatural, romance, harem, fantasy/scifi
>''''literature'''' that relies on pictures so that retards can imagine their waifus 'the right way'
It's not that hard to see why it's a shit medium. Your problem is you are reading shit.

too bad it's still garbage

Hunter x Hunter, mostly on account of Togashi's shit art

As a medium itself, LNs give you the raw character out of all the medium regardless of the quality. You lose a lot of that shit when you start skipping details, trying to imagine scenes and telling the story from an outside perspective.

There's a reason why the adaptation is almost always worse than the original, be it lack of 1 to 1 adaptation, lack of budget, lack/out of character.

Usagi drop

Gintama

I don't care for raw character if the character is there only to fill the checkboxes from a sheet (does it have a tsun/dere/yan/dan/kuuderes character, a childhood friend, rival, girl (male), best friend, father figure, mother figure, wise old teacher, etc.) or if they're the common stereotypical bullshit you find in LNs.
>and telling the story from an outside perspective.
You are aware not all narratives use a 1st person PoV, correct?

It's not even a matter of being better or worse. There's really little point in comparing an original with its adaptation. You get into the latter knowing they'll be flawed.

Fate/Pedo

Pretty much everything from KyoAni honestly.

I'd agree for Part 1 and 2 but the manga for 3 and especially 4 are superior to the Anime.

>You are aware not all narratives use a 1st person PoV, correct?

Yeah, it was just an example of how different the experience would be if you used a different media(other than maybe VN).

I admit, most LNs probably aren't written with great Japanese vocab but who cares, I read books to enjoy them. They also won't blow your mind with genres or characters you've never seen in anime. It's just a different way of consuming media, regardless of the quality. If it was about quality there's a lot of shit-tier mangas(even some popular mangas) that have awful stories or artwork.

Yama no susume
Non Non Biyori

Everyone knows what the obvious answer is.
Comes to the thread to point out the obvious anyway.
