No because you'll be able use proper anatomy and all that. If you copy manga/anime only you'll most likely devolve problems like making necks way too long or not knowing how certain poses look like.

Its not really a meme, thats just how you get better at drawing. Anime/cartoons/comics/ext are just representations of real world objects.
Once you understand what a leg looks like, you'll know the limitations of accurately representing it in 2D and can stylise it from what you know.

Kinda. If you can draw realistically from life, you can draw anything pretty well. But if you can only draw good animu. That's all you can draw well.

If you want to develop serious professional level skills, best bet is to do studies of real life to git gud. Then draw anime for fun occasionally.

It won't be hard if you enjoy drawing, and you don't have to do it all the time. Practice a bit, try some anime/manga thingy, then practice again. You'll improve in no time if you do a bit every day

Do you think anyone here (with the exception of a few drawfags) is actually talented enough to make a living from drawing on their own? Just drawing purely from art blogs alone ain't gonna cut it. In my experience, the people who generally commission the most are the ones from these very drawthreads (both here and the WWD). No one gives as much or as frequently as you all do.

These threads are literally where the money is at.

I felt like that was the case for me for a long time, but then I kept drawing and drawing. My most recent pic gave me hope that I could improve, even if just a little bit. You just gotta have hope, homie, don't give up.

But I pretty much just want to draw me and waifu together. And maybe by a stroke of luck I can change the canon of the story if the author recognizes me and me art.

May probably never happen since my hands can never create beauty, only destroy.
