I'm trying to recap what happened at the end of Rurouni Kenshin for most of the characters: Sanosuke went to Mongolia, Kenshin and Kaoru got married and had a kid, Sojiro became a wanderer, Aoshi went back to his clan, Enishi escaped from prison, Saito got sent away from Edo, Megumi is still a doctor, and Yahiko is now a master of Kamiya-Kasshin

That only ended up happening in the OVAs, which are non-canon.
The manga finished with Kenshin having a happy family. Maybe he rested enough time to be (almost?) fully recovered from that supposed strain.

Just because he's no longer in his prime doesn't mean that he's incapable of fighting. He probably can no longer go toe to toe with characters like Saito or Aoshi, but he should be able to handle small fry.

It's just like how many fighters have years of great fighting experience, but there bodies are worn down so they have to retire.
They can still fight, but just not as well anymore.
This is proven when Kenshin and Yahiko spar at the end of the manga where Kenshin wins by a slim margin.

Right before that fight starts, Yahiko says, quote: "This intense pressure...even though he can't use Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu anymore..."

I never contested the fact that he got a happy ending. You claimed that his inability to use Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu due to body deterioration was only in the OVA, which is false. You claimed that maybe if he rested, he could recover, which, as I keep saying, is also false, as we were informed otherwise.

And because I'm a nice person, I'll answer to your statement made to saying that I never claimed shit about his hability or inhability to use the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu, I was talking about his body ending all fucked up. He's weaker by the end of the manga, yes, but to call a body really 'fucked up' is the kind of body he has only in the OVA when he ended up old & sick and dies (in Kaorus hands?) due to all the, YES, strain he had to endure until his last moment.

Watsuki is known for having character designs and/or personalities based on other characters from various media like anime, video games, and western comics. He himself publicly admitted this and even made fun of himself several times.

Shishio had influence from Genjuro Kibagami of Samurai Shodown II.
Tomoe was based on Rei Ayanami and is arguably the best Rei clone in all of anime.
Fuji was based on EVA Unit 01.
The cape that Hiko Seijuro wears was based on Spawn.
Yatsume Mumyōi was based on Venom from Spider Man.

I'm sure there are more examples but that's all I can think of.
