3.33 at least had enough time for Kaworu and Shinji to connect yet being even gayer than confessing naked in a bath and a giant naked Kaworu from Rei's vagina.

Nobody at Wille says anything about blaming him for 3I, Ritsuko and Misato are careful to distinguish it from N3I and it's not in their explanation for the choker. The worst they did was let him leave rattled and uninformed enough for Nerv to exploit because they had like an hour with him and weren't trying to drive him to a breakdown.

Dialogue isnt interesting, and resolving powerful drama through dialogue isnt visually appealing nor is it exciting.
See, a crutch of bad writers is to make situations actually in reality -small-, so neither side is a bad guy or truly an asshole, but they take misunderstandings and lack of communication to EXPLODE such things out of proportion.That way no one's a bad guy, and it's just "OH, no! Misunderstandings!'
The problem is that yes, these things could EASILY resolve themselves with dialogue.
But we're in an age where dialogue for 10 minutes and a heartfelt hug is boring for a ending.
I'm saying they did reasonably explain how he concerned them and why they were treating him like they were, he could just be a guilt-prone idiot for believing it had to be more.
But yeah subject BM-03; provisionally Ikari Shinji was a thing. Misato and Asuka seemed satisfied it was him, they were addressing him like they ever did.
Nobody wants to tell him anything because this Shinji isn't even human, he's a far like Rei and Kaworu.
He has the power to create impacts whenever he pilots an eva, and his emotional and mental stability is tied to that.
