I think anime is banned from mexican TV now.
Except for dragon ball of course.
It's not banned, just isn't popular enough to bother.
Mexican here. I hate Mexican dubs.
I hate dubs in general, unless they appear at the end of my post number.
What if they appear at the end of MY post number?
Superior Dub coming through

>Not Banned
>CN banned it unless its a "localized" anime like Bakugan, Digimon Fusion and Pokemon
>Disney XD only showed Yokai Watch cause it was "localized"
>CN moved Dragonball to Tooncast and now edited the hell out of it (this wasnt the case in the original 2005-2006 CN broadcast)
>CN later edited the Dragonball movies around 2008-2010
>The last anime was PPGZ and it was based on the gag dub eng dub!
>ALL CABLE CHANNELS NOW FURTHER EDIT THEIR CONTENT
>TV Azteca DESTROYED their materials for all the animes they had like Saint Seiya, Rayearth, Slayers, Slam Dunk, Etc
>Many of those shows Latin dubs ONLY survive due copies of the old masters keep by Argentinian and Chilenian channels like ETC.
>Televisa and Funimation "revisited" teh masters of DBZ by using the shit Funi Blurays, and re-recorded many lines.
>in teh mid 2000s, Televisa relegated animes during shit schedules, cut them down to fill more fucking infommercials, and move them to shit channels like Galavision (Case in point, Precure)

At least I got to enjoy it during my childhood in the 90s.

Do you even know what a ban is? Only a goverment can ban anything. There's no big conspiracy against animu on TV, if there was, there could be not Dragon Ball Z on Televisa, nor Ghibli movies on Discovery Kids nor many, obscure anime on several state-owned local channels.
See japonenlatv.com
>TV Azteca DESTROYED their materials for all the animes they had like Saint Seiya, Rayearth, Slayers, Slam Dunk, Etc
I would like to see a source on this one.
>Televisa and Funimation "revisited" teh masters of DBZ by using the shit Funi Blurays, and re-recorded many lines.
What the hell this have to do with a ban?
>CN moved Dragonball to Tooncast and now edited the hell out of it (this wasnt the case in the original 2005-2006 CN broadcast)
>CN later edited the Dragonball movies around 2008-2010
I've news 4 u buddy, they edit the shit out of EVERYTHING. Movies, acquired programming, their own original contents, everything.
>in teh mid 2000s, Televisa relegated animes during shit schedules, cut them down to fill more fucking infommercials, and move them to shit channels like Galavision (Case in point, Precure)
Pretty Cure had the worst mexican dub ever, of course it was gonna flop. Ergo, it's logical the schedule change.
good dub for comparison
youtube.com
eww
There was a golden age for the Latin American dubs of anime in general, you can sing the second DBZ opening to anyone and they'll sing along with it, that's why there are so many Hispanic weebs, but it died out by the 2000s for some reason.
Animax and toonami were so good, pretty much any cartoon in general, the 90s were the best childhood you could ever had.
The real question is, how in the fuck is touhou so big in Latin America?
Me too man
ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
>There's no big conspiracy against animu on TV, if there was, there could be not Dragon Ball Z on Televisa, nor Ghibli movies on Discovery Kids nor many, obscure anime on several state-owned local channels.

This is from 2000, according to ( youtube.com
Locomotion kept existing until Sony buyed it in order to launch Animax Latin America, which brought a lot of anime (with shitty dubs, that's it) into the continent.
Most pathetic ban ever.
>hoping for a Ranma thread for a while
>it's mexican themed
REEEEE
And this is how we saw it in our childhood.
Got some chuckles out of me, just watch some and see if you like it
Then watch it online what the hell is the problem?
Someone knows if Spirited Away was broadcasted on Disney Channel with the Mexican dub?
This is fanart or it is official?
best dragon ball op
youtube.com
the song and the video are perfect
This is the sickest opening good god.
Too bad the show is so bad
So good. So kawaii. It makes me want to watch it again.
The show fucking sucks, i wonder how is it so popular to this day. What am i saying, it's nostalgia of course. Some channel in my country was doing reruns of it and it's practically nothing but zoomed in colored panels from the manga with two frames for moving mouths and the camera panning to fill the timeslot. Was it ever popular in Japan?
What bothers me the most is that when you try to find figures and such, the only thing you can find is dragon ball, naruto, bleach, one piece and saint seiya, and for some reason SAO too.
>Pretty Cure had the worst mexican dub ever

She no longer works for Disney. Her last work for them was in You Again (2010).
for some reason the y sound really good

>good
Sure they are, this one being the pinnacle of them:
youtube.com
Ok, this one's pretty good.
Why most Animax's Latin American Spanish dubs were so shitty?
they were made on colombia
money.
black cat was good thou.
the new dub of the eng of evangelion that's not on internet was good. sad the VA of asuka pased away.
I'll miss the added german accent on her.
They were made in Venezuela, you idiot.
End of Evangelion was never dubbed. The Animax dub of Eva (which actually is a dub of the Renewal) is still alive and well.
>The Asuka's VA of the Animax dub of Eva
Fixed that for me.
I doubt it.
the end was aired one time and no one recorded it and then animax died.
it was on that time when animax aired subbed anime movies. like advent children.
sad
youtube.com
also
the french isoka was fun
youtube.com
Why don't you make your own thread? You do know how to make your own thread, right?
>REEEEE
Evidently not.
Get a rss reader and make a filter for, ranma, rumiko, etc.
>the VA of asuka pased away
>realize that a lot of original VAs are old or retired
That explains too many things about the Rebuild dub. Ritsuko sounds like she is tired of life (which actually fits her character anyway) and Gendo and some other characters changed actors, not even from the second dub just new ones.
Shinji still delivered as always.
>the end was aired one time and no one recorded it and then animax died.
[source required]. Also, it was (supposedly) broadcasted subbed or dubbed?
Also, a pity than Animax didn't take full advantage of the Sony anime catalog and just aired Samurai X and 3 films. Especially since they had some great movies (and dubbed, to boot) like Tekkonkinkreet, Samurai X: The Movie, Memories, Street Fighter II: The Movie and Paprika.
Shut up spic, Sup Forums is an American website for white Americans only.
Go back to whatever shitty spic chans you use, because this site is not for you.
Koni-chan on Magickids
shame on you
goku mexican dub is really good
>Gendo and some other characters changed actors
In the case of Asuka, that's because Arturo Velez (Sound ingeneer in CCS) didn't wanted to feature the Rebuild cast and, since Asuka's original VA was kill, he decided to do a recast. In the case of Gendo and the other ones, those changes were because the dub was made by a Cuernavaca dub studio and they didn't wanted to travel there. Solórzano returned in the 3.33 movie since it was dubbed in the City of Mexico.
Misato is a special case. Toni Rodriguez just didn't considered the money good enough for her. What a Jewish fuck. She has rejected the role 3 times. In the third movie, the ADR director didn't wanted to use the Renewal VA and since he couldn't get the Cuernavaca VA, just made ANOTHER recast.
source is literally my ass since i watched the movie in spanish and then realized that it wasn't avaible dubbed on internet.
I feel it as my fauilt since I was the one recording the audio from trigun(cn), fate stay night(animax) , black cat(animax), mushrambo (telecanal), love hina(CN), licca chan(etc) and ranma1/2(CN), and rurouini kenshin(animax) at that time.
not the only one doing that btw. some of them just to have better recordings.
Are you autistic? I don't see how telling someone to make their own thread makes me a spic. I say the same thing to every faggot who complains about not having [x] thread for [x] anime at any given time. If you want to have a thread for something, make it yourself; it only takes a few fucking clicks. The board doesn't operate based on a single persons whims.
Someone who isn't a massive fucking newfag wouldn't even have to complain about something so stupid, because they would have the knowledge to just make their own thread.
in my country we had the mexican dub but... with this opening ..
youtu.be
By a chance, can you upload the Animax audio of the episode 30 of Samurai X?. It has a reference to opium that was censored in CN. It was in YouTube but the faggots of Aniplex took it down and the download links are kill.
this is a Japanese site you mong
not sure where it is, man. I have a fuckton of dvd somewhere.
I'll try fo upload it if can.
I know that I have the audio of love hina, shinzo and ranma (01-128) on hand at least.
Thanks.
it got taken over by the superior American culture cartoon .
WTF YOU SERIOUS!
