He was shit with magic so he uses yin spirit magic instead, but he needed to contract a spirit first, which takes a looong fucking time. Subaru can now shut down people pretty damn hard. Even defeating Gaaf and Roswaal.

Hunter x Hunter is the very definition of perfect manga and it's anime has came near perfection.

Emilia is so wonderful. She always puts a smile on my face.

Not the best series I've ever seen, but I did really enjoy it. Just finished my marathon of it early this morning. Sure a lot of the plot points can be seen coming episodes in advance, Subaru was needlessly acting like an asshole for most of the second act, and Emilia had negligible character development at the same time, but it was an interesting watch, and episode 18 was just stunning. Rem best girl.
I'll be looking forward to a season two coming out, hopefully not too far in the future, and seeing how it progresses from here.
Overall, I did enjoy Konosuba more, but that's just my opinion.
