I've been there for a few weeks to visit a friend. Koreans are nice, they're law abiding in public (but less so than the Japanese), and they're efficient (though again less than Japanese has a point basically)

Worst parts are the trash everywhere, because somehow trash cans don't exist in Asia, and the Chinese ass raping your air quality while you guys just bend over and pucker up.

this varies on where you visit and time of day; Seoul is quite clean in general despite the inexplicable lack of track cans, especially compared to much of Asia (aside from Japan)

Yeah, I spent a few days in Seoul just across from the central terminal. It's cleaner around there even with all the bums out front of the station. But once you go to places like Busan or industrial areas like Ulsan it can be pretty bad.

I really like the usage of trains too, though all but the KTX are slower than a car on a freeway in an open area. Of course, the mountains kinda get in the way of making proper straight rails or roads.
