ITT: Guilty pleasure series.

...

I remember buying the first volume in middle school during one of those book sales.

It, or some manga about twin sisters going to private school in the middle of some forest that was haunted or cursed when it came to twins or some shit were, i think, the first manga i'd ever read.

...

What's wrong with Skip Beat!?

Nothing, It's just that I always shit on shoujo for all using the same generic shitty tropes and then enjoy Skip Beat, which, while doesn't use many of them, still plays some straight. Also it moves at a snail's pace and I feel like I'll never see the ending of the manga in my lifetime.

Nigger this shit has been going on forever and there hasn't been any romantic development at all.

Prisma Ilya. Anything with sexy catgirls.

They both realized they like each other, they're just too autistic to actually get together. I mean they already like gave each other hickeys for no reason.

I liked it until I caught up and the pace got fucking glacial.

The first 100 chapters or so were top tier shoujo tho

The only shojo I can stand.

...

Your Lie In April I guess, but not really.

The combination of cute boys + rainbow lighting/sparkles had me sold. Though to be fair, the side materials give it a little more substance.

Skip beat was good until they went full retard with Ren's DARKNESS

Kuroshitsuji

Takane to Hana
Thought it was hilarious for a bit, but it's getting just as predictable as any other shoujo
I still end up reading it though

I actually watched the anime haven't read the manga but i enjoyed it

That shit is over with along with Kyoko's mama drama (thank heavens). It is back to Kyoko career and acting glide it should be.

Pet Girl of Sakurasou. Objectively I know it's bad and the MC is an impotent fuck who is vying for autism-chan, but it just makes me smile
