This is NOT a "hate" thread - instead, it's a serious discussion of something that many people have noticed: contrary to the rest of the first world, crime rates among black Americans have been going UP in recent years. Many people have noticed that younger black Americans, in many cases, just seem "off" - there is something wrong with them, and they inevitably seem to end up imprisoned, often for very violent and pointless crimes.
Leftists, naturally, blame "structural racism" or economic factors, but that does not explain the SPIKE in crime and murder. It's also incoherent, since American whites are a shrinking portion of the population (hence, "white supremacy", if it exists, must be weakening over time). Conservatives blame liberals, "fatherlessness," etc., which also misses the point, since those factors are CONSTANTS for the past 50 years, and we are talking about RECENT changes.
I think the answer is "dysgenia." The proportion of black kids being fathered by violent criminals/thugs/etc. has gone up in America over time, and we are starting to experience the result of that fact. Behavioral traits are heritable - and that includes things like a propensity for violence. America has empowered the violent black underclass to breed more rapidly than the "talented tenth" (well-educated black women have very LOW birth rates).
We also see evidence of this in the divergence between black murder rates in America and other western nations where there hasn't been as much dysgenic breeding - Montreal (for example) has quite a few blacks, but they are much less murderous. They are not the product of generations of thug-breeding. This is a difficult issue, because neither American conservatives nor liberals have the language to DESCRIBE the dysgenic breeding problem, let alone solve it. But on Sup Forums, we know better.

How have they not been? The big social changes in "black America" started taking place in the late-1950's and accelerated going into the 60's. That was the subject of the famous 1965 "Moynihan Report," which actually pre-dated the implementation of LBJ's "great society" programs.

Actually, lax law enforcement (only 10% or less of murders are solved in many ghetto areas) is a big contributor to the ability of thugs to produce so many kids. If they actually WERE locked up for their crimes, the dysgenic effect might be reduced a bit.

The murder rates don't match, actually. You can look at a city like London (which has around 900,000 blacks), and blacks in that city seem to commit somewhere around 50 murders per year, for a rate between 5 and 6 per 100,000 in any given year.
Then you look at a city like St. Louis, where a black population of 150,000 is committing somewhere around 180 murders per year in recent years, for a rate of 120 or so - over 20 times higher than London blacks.

When the Irish, the Italians, the Japanese, etc, first came to America, they were treated like shit, lived in ghettos, had prominent gang activity in their communities, just like the blacks. You want to know the difference? All of those groups made it out of the ghetto except for the blacks. Those groups didn't blame the white man, in fact, they tried hard to emulate the white man, and it worked. The blacks would rather blame the white man for their problems and use it as an excuse to do the shitty and illegal things they do to their people and communities.
